(For reals though this is a game I was hyped for for years and It doesn't disappoint. Thus gets the seal of approval.)

MV is a Good engine for beginners who want to make RPGs and experts that can make plugins that I guess I recomend and all that,
but I have a bone to pick with MV. Ah hem:
GOD, do I wish to slap the guy who snorted an entire table worth of coke Tony Montana style and then decided to make the tiles 48 by 48 pixels... thus making every tile sprite I designed for Past engines completely unusable... Joy.
It should have gone:
16x16 pixels like in 2000 and 2003,
Then 32x32 like in XP, VX, and VX ace.
AND THUS IT SHOULD HAVE BEEN 64 BY FREAKIN' 64 PIXELS LIKE GOD INTENDED!

Normally I am not one for super violent brutal games unless it's horror or Has "Lisa" some where in the title. However, hotline and its sequel is my big exception. The killer soundtrack, the trippy nature, Its super hard game play and my nature to be an achievement wh*re, and It's deep, yet not obvious story line, all make it makes it one of my favorite games in recent years. its also worth it to buy the soundtrack.

Enjoyable Unpredictable, cute, horrifying and amusing. I dig it, it had the dreamlike feel that I like from Yume nikki but with more of a story and Horrific Punch to it. I art style, the art style reminds me of the Yume Nikki fangame called" Me" in a good way. and the soundtrack is good, both when its trying to scare you and when its not. Get this with the goodie back both for the soundtrack and the DLC area story thingy, I adored that area and story more than the main game its self tbh. anyways my main problem is the difficulty of the puzzles is all over the place. without trying to spoil anything I found the first puzzle to be the hardest. and some of the later ones to be pretty easy. and it's not a fault of the game its self but its unfortunate to me that there is another game that shares the same name and this one and thus. is like impossible to google because of the other game. If you have some time this October I recommend closing your eyes and giving this a whirl. and I guess use a guide if you get stuck.... like I did like 5 times.

This is Undertale's disturb screwed up Older cousin. and I am in love love it! or that could just be the stock homes kicking in? Relating to games about apocalypses. I like this more then fallout. I really enjoy the gameplay even tho the game is a massive jerk to you. the music is kick butt and I play it when I am working on my game or if I am at work. and playing it helps me have an idea on how to structure my game because it is also in rpg maker. Speaking of that. this is my 2rd favorite rpg maker game out of the 67 I have played, and this i feel is the best RPG made on rpg maker that I have played. I do admit I still like OFF better tho. but Lisa is a better game. I had a blast playing painful mode and working around what the game will throw at me and because I know what is up and is going to happen so I can plan who I am going to let die and stuff like that.*wow I am a monster.* The game before you know what is up was not as fun I do admit. or at least to me. and I feel better getting some closure to the series after playing Lisa the first years ago and it leaving an impact in my brain. I want to cosplay terry hints now and I liked this game. Lisa the joyful is ok but I liked it the least out of all of the lisa games and dlc packs. I am ok with killing and doing all the bad stuff in lisa because I am trying to save some one. but in joyful I am just killing for power. and I am less down with that. If you like stuff like no more heroes or the later god of war games then its for you. I am all LISAed out for now. and will go back to work on my game or will find something else to play.
