Oozing with style. The game really picks up at level 3 and feels like a wild ride from then on. There's an itch this game scratches in the back of my ADHD brain with the quick pace and frenetic energy each level brings. Just moving around feels satisfying because of the beat mechanic and the music itself is a plus too. Definitely would recommend for anyone that loves rhythm games but wants to try something new

Most exciting game I've played in quite a while. A lot of skill expression mixed with a really low barrier to entry. You can either sweat your balls off or farm on the edge of circles like a chill guy

This game is very old and yet it aged like fine wine. I burst out laughing multiple times because the humor was just that good. Everything from the art style to the game play to the soundtrack still holds up in 2021 which I guess is why this game is hailed as one of the all-time greats. And deserving of such recognition. I played this as a kid and I'm thrilled to see that kid-me was right about this game after all these years.

This is a masterpiece. No other words can do it justice, you just need to play it to understand.

TL;DR - Great atmosphere, and legitimately scary. Terrible camera/aim control and a bad PC port. Buy the console version instead.

This game is a nightmare to play, which is both good and bad. On the one hand, the environment to the sound design oozes horror. It does a great job of making you feel isolated and alone but never really helpless. A common problem with many horror shooters is that because you have the means to fight back against the enemy, you lose any notion of being afraid because you have a big shiny gun at your beck and call at all times. Dead Space gives you a big shiny gun and you still crap your pants no matter how many gunfights you've already been in.

Now the bad:

I CANNOT get past how insanely clunky the controls and game play feel. Do NOT play this with a mouse and keyboard, you will just end up hating yourself and everyone around you. And if you must - which you really shouldn't - you will have to turn VSYNC off and go into the game's ini files to mess around with the sensitivity until you get it right (which is just a major headache). ALTERNATIVELY, you could just play this using a controller/gamepad and be fine. Maybe. Honestly just stay away from this PC Port and buy it for the Xbox.

Do I recommend this game? Do. I. Recommend. This. Game? What kind of question is that?
Might as well just ask:

"Why do you not have this game in your Steam library?"

or better yet:

"This game should be in your harddrive. Now"

This is not just some FPS game COD copied or just another Halo production. THIS is a gut-wrenching, adrenaline-pumping, heart-stopping rollercoaster of pure awesomeness.
Guns? check. A maniac doctor from Germany? check. Fish for weapons? check-a-roony.

What am I even saying? Get Team Fortress 2 NOW. I don't think you'll be disappointed.
