Very fun game, respects your time. PvP is a blast.

After only 2 weeks of it being released, they are already walking back on their "vision", and turning a huge portion of the DD into a PvE zone, so there will be no more conflict and everyone can get the best materials so they can kill PvE enemies in 1-2 hits and then quit again.
This is just the start.
Really wish steam would allow refunds when games make massive changes to their entire gameplay.

VERY SHORT.
I took my time, tried different weapons, explored most paths, and I beat the game in just 2 and a half hours.
For the cheap price, I'd say its worth it, but be warned.
Other than that, it is a very fun game jam packed with soul.

Massive W for gamers, sony backed down

To get into a single match, you have to endure 20 minutes of non-stop network errors that kick you back to the base, where you have to yet again navigate the god awful UI to get booted out over and over.
Once you get into a match, its really fun. Its up to you if putting up with 20 minutes of errors to get a 5 minute match is worth it.

After playing the game for a good amount of time, I was able to see all the cracks and flaws.
Worse yet, the game is essentially dead. The Dev team is lying constantly about their official size of people working on the game, which is evident because they are months and months behind on a single patch, and they had to cut content from it.
Its a dead game going no where.

edit: They are now banning people in game, and giving your steam account game bans, for saying or doing something they do not like outside of the game. Someone I know was given a game ban for simply posting the CMs reddit in an entirely seperate discord.

Herbivore hugbox chat simulator.
Everyone gets on a herb, sits in one spot the entire game, and never move. You'll have half the server sitting in one spot doing nothing, making it impossible to actually play the game. They just sit around all day and chat about the most cringey ♥♥♥♥.
Also, the more free time you have, the better you are. Time makes your dino stronger, not skill. Really promotes people to just AFK in big hugbox groups and do nothing.

It has potential, but its far too soon. Maybe give it a year or two.
