I think people are too hung up on the fact Clem isn't the main character, while yes her character does take a turn, I think Javier deserves a fair shot. People can't help but compare past things to new, and some points are very valid.

I'm willing to see how the story with Javier goes. And I hope that choices will actually make a difference again.
