This game is actually a pretty great game. However, since it's an EA game, there's nothing much to expect from the developers towards a game that is almost 10 years old. The EP's are extremely overpriced, and I'm just gonna mention that I don't have any of them, or the stuff packs either. I believe that the things you get in the EP's are simply things that should've been included in the base game, like Seasons, University life, etc. I recommend picking this game up on a sale, it normal goes on for around $5, I think. Just know that it is the most neglected Sims game, but I still prefer it more than 2 & 4. If you plan on playing it, I highly suggest that you download Nraas mods, especially Overwatch, ErrorTrap and MasterController, since they help run your game much easier. If you want to also be reminded to save your game once in a while, download Nraas saver, I think the deafult is 30 minutes real-time. Before you download any mods just make sure you know how to download CC (custom content), and make sure that you know the basics. Your cc folder should have three files in it, packages, overrides, resource.cfg. You can download the frameworksetup file from the internet, specifically from a website called Mod the Sims. After that, just rename it to "Mods" and you should move it to documents > Electronic Arts > Sims 3. That's it. CC is great, and it allows you to get so many cool stuff in the game such as clothes, hairs, skins and all that. You can also download custom worlds, houses, etc. one of the most well-known websites for CC is The Sims Resource, and it has a lot of things for you to download, just make sure you download stuff mainly from featured artists, since a lot of CC can be bugged when you get it into the game.

Overall, I do recommend the game, and it's totally worth it.

Okay, so this game is really beautiful, and very atmospheric as well.
Controls are fine, can be a bit buggy here and there.
Some puzzles are extremely frustrating, and the story is confusing.
However, it was nice playing it.
I think I'd give this game a 7.5/10.

This is a game that has a specific atmosphere that just gives you the creeps. You can't play without feeling that something is gonna go wrong, or some ♥♥♥♥♥♥ is gonna come and kill you. If you're into horror games, this game is definitely for you. Even playing on normal is challenging. 11/10.

This game isn't bad, I like these kinda games. Apart from the buggy controls, and the game not being scary at all, I think I'd recommend it. meh who cares.

This is one of my favorite games, if not my absolute favorite game ever. Once you get past the cringe and all the cliche things, this game will win your heart. Great atmosphere. ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ amazing soundtrack. I love. Replayed it over and over and over.
