It's the only Sims game I've really delved into out of the entire franchise, but it's also the only one that has grasped any interest out of me.
The graphics/art style are big ups for me, the Sims actually looked like people, and the vibe overall felt more adult, less cartoon game. I played with the Pets and Late Night expansions, and I got to say, it was such a fun time. I used the in game command editor to expand my apartment to multiple stories, and lived a seedy life in a vampire filled world. Living.
The building in game really did it for me, though. I'm a city builder/customization fanatic. Mods also go wild. Infinite possibilities.
Pick it up and give it a try in the big 26.

Sims 3 is better then Sims 4. Its sad what Sims has become, no Sims 5 just keep milking 4 with the dumb content
