This game is basically like a cute puppy dog hitting you over the head with a chair.

The visuals make you expect a little game even a 5th grader could beat in a day. But in reality this game could probably make even Stephen Hawking feel dumb. The difficulty curve is less of a curve, but rather a difficulty cliff you desperately try to climb. And even though this description makes it sound like a torture device it is actually a really fun game.

It is a genuine challenge, It makes you think a lot harder than most games these days. And that's what makes this game so good. The mechanics are simple to understand, but take a lot of brains and patience to master.

Additonally to the gameplay and the simplistic, yet adorable, graphics the soundtrack is very calming and complements the game really well (which is perfectly fitting because otherwise I'd probably have punched a hole into my wall by now...)

Overall a neat and challenging game that I can definitely recommed you getting.

This game takes your feelings and stabs them with a knife. Multiple times. But that isn't meant in a bad way. Just like the first Season of The Walking Dead it is really interesting to see the character developement in this game. This game (aswell as the prequel) are in my opinion one of the greatest pieces of art there is in video game culture at the moment. You may think the zombie theme is overused right now but this game is bringing this scenario to you on a new level. You start to personificate with Clementine and i personally partially sat in my bed thinking about the decisions i made in game even hours after i had played.

I am not quite sure if i like it more than the prequel. The minor bugs that kinda bugged me in the first game aren't to be seen in this game. Still i for myself found it easier to personificate with Lee in the first game, which is probably caused by the fact that i am a near-adult man.

In the end, I think of this game as one of the best sequels i could have imagined. The short time you will need for this game (it took me ~10h) is one of the very few drawbacks. Still a lot of people will find replayability in this game, just to see how other decisions would have influenced the game. If this game is ever on sale (and knowing Steam, it will be)
buy it as well as the first season. It is more than worth the money.

So. All summed up. Telltale never fails to make a story you will still remember in months. And this game is another great example for this. One of the greatest experiences the gaming market has to offer at the moment.

My personal rating: 92/100

I am already hyped for Season 3.
