Short version:

For 20$ The game is good and fun, takes around 20-30 hours to beat the Clubs. Having many cars and lots of customisation for them. Developers are working actively on the game. CarX Street will only get better and better with each update. I hope so.

My current rating for the game is 7/10.

Long version:

I am writing this review for the game version 1.0.4. After I put close to 30 hours into the game. I bought it on launch day, version 1.0. At that stage game had bad economy, it was a grind and difficult to advance.

-But after few updates Developers kinda fixed the issue with fuel and rewards, which is good. But I still think as of writing this review that there should be more balancing in the economy. For example Turbo kit cost same as Apartment. There is no need of having two balances money and coin. Problem with economy is that if you want to build fully one car you will need over 1 million and plus coins, now that is a bit easier when you are doing club races but still it's way too much in my opinion.

-Another problem once you beat all the Clubs you have basically nothing to do. You can grind Elite races for cash and coins. Black Lotus Elite races give 25k and 5 coins which is low. I think Elite races should give bigger rewards especially if you have beaten all the clubs, or have it at least that reward from Elite races gets bigger and bigger as you beat each one. Unless things are done about this, game will become stale for players who have beaten the Clubs and who don't want to grind Elite races.

-NPC's have gotten an update but I still think there should be more work done to them. I have seen them crashing on harpine, losing control and crashing into each other.

+Racing and drifting are good, everything depends how you build your car. You need to tune your car and suspension for what you need the car to do.

+Customisation is wast and fun. You can change almost everything. I know Developers will add more body kits and more customisation options in future.
We need to have option for different front and rear wheels.
Air suspension, once you park the car you can airout.
More variation for brake calipers, as we have for brake discs.
More roll cages.
To remove the hood ad in CarX Online.
More head lights and tail lights.
Would be cool to have different modes for under glow, for them to flash or change colour.
Strobe light in headlights.
Those are some options that would be nice to have in the game.

+Visual look of the game is great for being 20$ game and visual look will only get better.
Having ray-tracing without mods would be nice.
Photo-mode needs to have depth of field, lenses filters as star filter or black mist filter. And more filter for different style.

+Tuning is good and interesting. You can feel your car getting faster and faster with each modification. It's still expensive but with progressing through the game you can build and tune car a bit easier. I would love to see more engine swaps, and engine swaps not to costing loads of coins.

An option to adjust you car sound or even to have "popcorn" sound and to have burble tune is a must.
To have blow-off sounds and turbo flutter as you upgrade turbo kits or if the car comes stock with turbo to have those sounds.

One more thing I would like to be added in the game is the Show room, to have ability to see all your cars in one spot. As your personal car exhibition or your personal car show.

I might have forgotten some stuff, but I want to say thank you to the developer's for working on the game and I hope they keep working on it.

Good luck,
DC
