Some 7 and a half years ago, I uploaded a video promoting a new track for my first custom version of NFM1 (Crash & Burn, if you care to verify). Not 10 seconds into the video I stated that this track would be ideal for a multiplayer version of NFM.Fast forward about 3 years and then came NFMM. After NFM2's success, I was personally extremely enthusiastic about this development. As community manager of the AIM games forum at the time, I was prepared to welcome a lot of new people into the forum and expand it beyond anything we (Simon - A, Julian - I and myself - M) had ever conceived back in March 6th, 2009 when AIM was created.Released on September 12th 2011, NFMM was not perfect.Still, the sheer excitement of being able to play the game online with people I considered to be very good friends was enough to keep the hype train rolling.
