Incredible potential here. Great crafting/gathering systems overall. Scratches the old school runescape/brighter shores itch well. Get ready to grind. I recommend bringing/making friends along the way. There's a great community to this game and they're always happy to help.

WHAT I WISH THIS GAME HAD: Better pathing/climbing/hunting options. And more/better integrated dungeons.

Tier 3 introduces a lot more verticality which is aethestic and cool but this game really struggles to get you up and down surfaces.

Hunting is tragically slow and grindy. I wish there were animal traps or some sort of passive option in place, as a lot of people seem to hate the skill as it is. I don't mind chasing deer and birds all over the map and really getting out of the settlement to do so, but currently it's by far the slowest and most painful skill.

My take on dungeons is that there should just be more of them. I think one for every tier and maybe more puzzles or things to do/gather in them would work well. Maybe some more recipes/ingredients that boost crafting or replace certain grinding. Don't want to hunt? Use this beast's leather instead, etc.

Overall this is a great game with a great community that does much more right than it does wrong. These are all small gripes. I'll likely return when hunting/pathing gets some extra love, and again after their planned wipe on full release.

When I bought this game years ago, it worked fine. Now unfortunately, the steam version of it does not work at all. Do NOT buy this game.
