I personally don't understand the noise around "$70 singleplayer game with microtransactions" because:
1. A good amount of the people complaining about it don't even own the game or have never even played a single assassin's creed title.
2. They're completely optional and not spending on them doesn't change the experience of the game at all. They said it themselves, it's singleplayer. If anything, you're gonna be paying for over the top cosmetics that look out of the place in the world.
3. They're not visible outside of the landing page with news and the animus hub. Heck, I didn't even know the animus hub existed until I randomly completed a weekly quest. The "battle passes" are completely free by the way and are available forever.

I understand the hate against Ubisoft but sometimes it becomes so obvious when people just want to start spewing ♥♥♥♥ for the sake of spewing ♥♥♥♥.

cinematics are top-notch; every boss fight is hype as heck!

Manor Lords bears an amazing foundation already. I'm excited to see how this game will change as it progresses through early access.

Quality

It's been almost seven months since this game came out and the performance is nowhere near what they promised nor has it been "polished" to a good level at all. On top of that there hasn't been a shred of new content since release when most other successful games would've fulfilled half or most of their season pass by now.

Well, Cyberpunk isn't a successful game at all anyway. I'm done waiting lol.

It's Terraria x Skyrim x Minecraft x Fallout 4 x [whatever game you deem fit]. It's an early access game so it's not perfect but it has almost all the best parts from every game and meshes them well!
