Lost 300 sextillion dollars to worms, then scratched out the sun. 10/10 would kill my trashcan with a ticket again.

This was an impulse buy and I was very positively surprised. The puzzles are genuinely excellent. Scratches the right itch for me.

I was a Kickstarter backer and so far I'm very pleased. The dev made sure every backer got the game even though they had trouble receiving the funds, which is a big plus, in my opinion. Played in English; a couple typos and missing punctuation, and at least one VA line with a mistake (VA says "besties" when the text says "beasties") but these are very minor issues that can be fixed easily, and it's an otherwise very engaging experience.

Honestly some of the most fun I had with a game this year.

Game released officially today, I came back to it, started a new save, and the game crashes when I choose my first path (a battle offering gold). Didn't have crash problems before, but as of right now, it's unplayable for me.

Edit: If anyone else coming back from EA has the problem: verifying game files fixed it for me. I'm changing the review to positive and leaving it up in case anyone else is having trouble and could benefit from it.

Not yet in a state I can recommend. Balance isn't there. People demand services you haven't unlocked yet. You get very few Fighter units and sometimes zombie attacks come from multiple fronts which can quickly snowball into a game over even in normal mode. Often when you have an early game fighter clearing out zombies, more zombies swarm the area and your fighter dies; there's nothing you can do to prevent this but let the unit die and waste the stamina spent on training them for no benefit. Game's not fun currently and runs are very RNG-dependent.

Addictive as hell. Had to uninstall to keep this game from distracting me. 10/10 would mess up my sleep schedule again.

The game, visually, is beautiful. Sadly, that's where the positives end.

The balancing is horrible. The game is riddled with visual bugs that have been around since before the update. The update straight up introduced an enemy (the avatar of Lust) that can one-shot your character from outside the map—it's painfully evident there has been minimal to no testing on the devs' end. The English is rough in places.

Knowing the devs are also Brazilian made me give this game a fair shot, but at this point, I don't have a lot of faith that the devs can balance their game, so I've uninstalled for good. Sucks to leave a Brazilian studio a bad review, but months upon months of silence followed by an incredibly buggy update that effectively makes the game worse, not better, is not it. I was in their Discord for a while and the devs were disorganized, with one guy being particularly rude.

There are good Vampire Survivors clones out there. Skip this one.

The most fun I've had in a farming sim since Stardew Valley. No tedious minigames, farm customization is extremely simple—you buy a blueprint, place the base of the building down yourself, then feed materials into it. Crafting automatically accesses any materials you have in storage. Every action feels meaningful. Items can be collected and don't despawn even if your inventory is full. Seriously incredible little game; very excited to watch it develop.

i work from home primarily with writing and this has been an amazing little all-in-one tool to keep me focused and productive. i recommended it to my coworkers and would recommend it to anyone who needs to tune out all distractions.
