CS:GO Review
If you've played a Counter Strike game before then CS:GO should be a natural fit.

While CS:GO keeps the elements of Counter Strike you know and love, it gives the series a new lick of paint. As well as the updated graphics there's also new weapons, maps & game modes.

The most prominant addition however is the inclusion of competative matchmaking. Now you can engage in gripping ranked 5v5 competative games. While some players may prefer to play the more casual game modes, playing competitively is definitely the new school cool.

Unfortunately, like other popular games with competative matchmaking CS:GO suffers from toxic players. So if you're going to try out competative matchmaking I highly recommend you play with friends rather than play solo. Trust me, you'll have a fuller head of hair in the long run.

Another major feature added to CS:GO is the addition of cosmetic items. Weapon skins & sprays now drop at random at the end of games or are avaliable to buy via loot boxes and the Steam Market. Say what you will about lootboxes, but they're here to stay if you like it or not.

Luckily, the addition of the cosmetic system doesn't deter from the in-game experience. CS:GO offers a refreshed, exciting counter strike experience. It's still just as fun to play as it ever was and Valve have done good work bringing this PC Gaming standby up-to-date.
