I have a few weird (retro) controllers, so I'll try them out for you and let you know if any don't work out. You're welcome to borrow them to troubleshoot them if necessary.

Over the next few days I need to look into pulling a list of controllers down from Steam Big Picture. In short though if you have a controller then chances are it'll work.
