Game is fun. Games are supposed to be fun, thats what you get out of them.

You are not supposed to make yourself miserabe over video games. Why this playerbase wants to do that I don't know. Dont listen to people who want to do nothing but ruin your hobby. They don't care about the game, they just want to cry. They don't use facts, they go off "feels" which are entirely incorrect and causes them to make literally no sense whatsoever.

So you can play vidoe games and have fun as intended or you can join the internet hate mob and try to ruin everything you claim to love.

Early Access Review
There is alot of potential here but sadly thats all that is. The game is a scripted story desguised as a simulation and it does neither one well. For example, you can upgrade your system but it does nothing to improve the speed of how your computer is functioning. Because it is heavily scripted, you can't use logic to do things out of order. Even if it seems like it should work, it won't, because you have to hit certain story triggers in the right order.

If there was actually something more of a simulation so that upgraded parts actually had an effect or the in-game GUI actually behaved like an OS file browser, it would help so much.

The translation to English for most of the missions is really bad. Sometimes so bad that the game is telling you to do one thing, but really means the opposite. There are alot of bugs and again, some are hard to troubleshoot because of the broken English translation.

There is apparently a whole PvP system that I'll never get to see because of these bugs. If you're looking for a good hacking game, this is not it.

The Good

If you like playing summoners, have a base to go back to and improve and want to feel like the bad guy this is a great game. It plays alot like the Pikmin series. Along the way you can upgrade your minions, forge new equipment for yourself and buy cosmetics for your evil lair. The game has a decent length but not really anything to bring you back once you're done.

The Bad

The minion AI can be a bit iffy at times. Sweeping is not as effective as you expect it to be. There are parts you will get frustrated or run into bugs. There are a few instances where you get blind sided out of nowhere, lose 75% of your army and have to run 2-3 minutes back to minion gates. Minions will sometimes not move objects they are carrying.

This was a huge issue in the final mission. You have to carry an object to a bunch of different locations... only the minons will decide they don't want to move it. So you think, maybe you aren't supposed to until you get to the next objective and your advisor smugly informs you, you didn't bring the object. Well no ♥♥♥♥, the minions wouldn't move it.

Overall
The game is a bit old so modern hardware should run it maxed no problem. The game seems to have a 114 FPS limit, at least I couldn't find a way to get more then that. Its a bit rough in parts but it is fun. When you get to the last mission, just assume you win and move on, its not worth the frustrations.

For free this is a pretty decent game. The graphics are rather simple but effective and the environment is well crafted but its not that immersive. You don't hear anything other then the phone. You can poke your head out the window and you're in the middle of this big city but you can't hear anything at all. Even when people are right outside your window talking, you can't hear it. Not that immersive but enough to enjoy yourself.

If they had some more time and funding they could probably expand this formula and make a truly awesome VR game. As it stands, its just okay.

Early Access Review
Let me start out by saying that i typically don't like reviews like this but this is just inexcusable.

They've just released paid DLC for a game that is in Early Access, has very little content to begin with, and costs more then the actual game does. These aren't struggling developers, they released one of the best selling and most popular VR games. But haven't they given you more songs already? Yeah they actually released 3 songs for PC. At least when ARK did this paid DLC in Early Access, the base game had more then enough content to satisfy people....that is not the case here.

The game itself is really fun and engaging. It seems so simple on the surface but you really get into it. Its a very enjoyable game to play in bursts now and again. However given the devs lack of progress on the game and now this paid DLC crap, I do not recommend it. Wait untill its "complete", whatever that means, and buy it on sale.

EDIT: Okay seems there was in issue with pricing, the DLC is actually $14 CDN... compared to the base game of $22 CDN.

Played on Oculus Rift

This is a short game that has you riding on a small train and making stops to solve puzzles to continue on your way. Its enjoyable but over before you know it and the puzzles aren't that difficult. There is a little bit of world building but it really doesn't amount to anything and then the game just ends abrubtly.

They could have done so much more with the train concept and adding a bit more story. Worth getting on sale. Its nothing mind blowing and if you've been playing VR for awhile now its not gonna wow you.

It controls on the rift just fine except its using the trigger to grab instead of the grip. Had a few crashes but that was about it.

Neat defence game where you have tools to defend yourself against bugs. The game runs smooth and looks alright with SS at 2.0. A little short, the campaign will last about 1.5-2 hours or so and then there's an endless mode if you want more.

Not too bad for $10 but I'd wait for a sale.

Interesting concept just poor execution. This game should probably be in Early Access.

My trouble began with the options menu, it took about 45 minutes of fiddling with options and restarting the game (which would require a force restart of steam) before the options starting to stick. I had a hard time getting it to register that I choose snap turning, which means the first 45 minutes i tried to play means i couldn't turn at all.

The reloading mechanic is mostly broken. In a game where you want to reload as quickly as possible, you just can't do it. To reload, or grab anything in the world really, you have to wave your hand all around trying to find that sweet spot so it will register you're trying to interact with an object. When you have zombies closing in, this means almost certain death. Auto Reload option must be used.

There's a lack of feedback to what you do in the game. I tried to fill a gas can, i could see the pouring animation from the tank going into my can but i couldn't tell when it was full. There's no indication that the tank is even filling. So i slogged back (extremely slow movement speed) back to my base and what do you know, there's no gas in the can.

So i restart and try it again, sit there for 5 minutes waiting for the can to fill up and it never it. Then nighttime came around and all of a sudden 20 or so zombies spawn literally right infront of me, given the layout of the refueling tank... i was screwed. Such a cheap death. Also didn't help that anytime i picked up something with my left hand, my gun would jam making me eject the mag and losing rounds just to get it to work again.

If they can fix the bugs and make the interactiveness more responsive, and more feedback with what you're supposed to do then it could be a cool little zombie survival game. As it stands now, its not worth it.

Oh and the one time i started to make any progress, the game crashed...again. Lots of crashes.

Although i loved Arkham City to death, and consider it overall the better game... I find that Arkham Knight is my favorite in the series.

Almost everyone is aware of the rough start this game had but I don't think its fair to continue to judge it based on that considering how long ago it was, the updates recieved, and people tend to forget WB gave the entire Arkham Library to those who had bought the game. That being said, this game has very unreliable performance. It may work for you, it might not at all. I ran this game fine off a GTX 1080, but on a 280x it took hours to find a fix to get the game running.

The graphics are at times amazing but also kind of bland. There is more world to explore so its understandable the quality of the world isn't the same as the other games. It still looks fantastic. Little touches like NVIDIA floating paper debris or enchanced rain really add to the enviroment. Character models are top notch and the voice acting while servicable, isn't up to the same quality we come to expect.

Gameplay is where it really comes into its own. You have as close to a complete Batman package as we may ever get. Between the maneuverability, gadgets, and the batmobile you have alot of options on how to approach situations.

One of the biggest complaints about the game is the batmobile. Honestly, its not that bad. Yes there are times you have to use it but for the most part you can ignore it and just fly around the city.

Pros
-Big map to explore
-Combat fun and fluid (if a bit easy)
-Currently most complete Batman experience

Cons
-Unreliable performance
-Conroys weakest (Arkham Series) performance
-Weak excuse to keep someone around when we were told the devs were moving on.

Batman may have outshined in City but Asylum is where it all started. Even though there are less mechanics and refinements, the gameplay and story still hold its own among the Arkham series and games in general.

The combat is fluid and fun like the rest of the series even if it is a little lacking in depth compared to Arkham Knight.

Its a great game if you want to really be Batman. Beat people up, solve mysteries, act like an arrogant know it all....its all there for you.

Pros
-Decent graphics
-Fun Combat
- Kevin Conroy and Mark Hamil shine

Cons
-Can give newer OS's some trouble
-PhysX bugged at certain points.
