Day 1 impressions. PC additions (graphical) drops framerate, either in cut scenes, or in the movement of characters themselves. Game Audio seems to be coming through some sort of black-magic mystery channel, as the system tray audio mixer (slider) does absolutely nothing at all - and capturing of the game, either through video recording or streaming (OBS and Bandicam used)... yeilded absolutely no game sound / music.

I pre-ordered this game. The hype-train was here. Finally able to share this (easily) with friends who have still never seen or played the original Disgaea, which completely changed my taste in games. Due to all these compounding difficulties... that hype train has been completely derailed. This mess is parked. I'm plugging in the PS2.

CS:GO Review
CS:GO is a fun tactical shooter - though I'd like it to either have more tactics, or more game modes.

Wow. This game is fun. This definately isn't a coffee break game, be prepared to sit down, and roll lots of virtual dice. I have to admit I never had a chance to play the original board game - but if you had friends to play this with you, I could definately understand why you would sink Hundreds of dollars into this game. I guess I should be happy getting this for under $6.

Since this is a video-game however, you still have something to get out of playing A.I. opponents. My first match took just over 2 hours, getting to know the game, and complaining to my computer enemies. All the random elements definately add a lot of spice to the flow of gameplay. If you like anything with long term strategy or long-term luck, then give Talisman a chance!

Early Access Review
Space Engineers is a game where you not only "build" - but you truly engineer. And you happen to be in space. You have to worry about keeping up your life support systems, finding energy, materials to build - and where to find more materials. Trying to hijack space-shipments is super fun too. There is definately a learning curve with the controls and systems - but with a little patience you'll be a Zero-G master. Fun to play with friends, or also just go into Lego-mode with creative and make up cool things.

Tactics that are Tactical. Guns that shoot what you aim at. Grenades are grenades (actually hurt you). Games that are fun. Teams with strategy. Customizable loadouts. Lack of purple guns. What more do you want from YOUR tactical shooter??

Castlevania with a resource system and item creation. This aint no Notch game. Fun and deep, with lots to do, tons to build, and all sorts of monsters to kill.
