I've not really been into stealth combat style games, usually I preferred open world shooters if anything. After watching some videos and researching a bit I decided to take a chance on this game. It combined the stealth style play "optionally" and open world into one and just may have got me into a new genre. The story is a bit spotty though the characters are overall well done. Visuals are amazing specially for it's release period but most of all the gameplay is what keeps you going. As seen by my play time it is a game that keeps you wanting to comeback and play more by making a good blend of strategic gameplay and keeping the player rewarded; you really do always feel like you are progressing toward something. Special note out to one particular scene that really stood out to me, a certain character who doesn't talk is a part of it and it is near the end of game's story but it really was one of the most impactful moments in a game I've experienced. The overall story and story telling may be a bit rough around the edges but I will never forget the first time I I viewed that scene and how it made me feel after everything else I went through the game leading up to that point. Any game that does something that makes me remember it far into the future ranks high in my book.
