Early Access Review
Really fun with lots to explore. Can be played solo or with your friends. The building has a lot of potential for people that enjoy it. Well polished for early access.

Dive deep into the quirky world of 'Dave the Diver,' where scuba exploration meets sushi entrepreneurship. Join Dave and his eccentric crew as they uncover the secrets of the mysterious Blue Hole. By day, Dave's a deep-sea diver hunting for treasures and exotic fish; by night, he's serving sushi and exotic dishes at the best sushi bar around the blue hole. It's a hilarious rollercoaster of underwater antics, culinary chaos, and existential questions. Five stars for the deep-fried absurdity – 'Dave the Diver' is a catch you won't want to release!

An Epic Wild West Adventure that you can take anywhere on the go on the Steam Deck

Rating: ★★★★★

Red Dead Redemption 2 is an absolute masterpiece, and now that it's available on the Steam Deck, it's even more immersive and accessible than ever. Rockstar Games has truly outdone themselves with this stunning open-world action-adventure game.

Pros:

Fantastic Storytelling-

Red Dead Redemption 2 boasts one of the most captivating and emotionally charged narratives in gaming history. You'll be engrossed in the tale of Arthur Morgan, a complex and morally ambiguous outlaw, as he navigates the rugged and unforgiving landscapes of the Wild West.

Top-Tier Graphics-

The game's visuals are a testament to the capabilities of modern gaming technology. The attention to detail in the environments, character models, and wildlife is nothing short of breathtaking. Whether you're exploring the heart of Saint Denis or gazing at a scenic vista in the Grizzlies, the world is a visual wonder.

Masterpiece of Audio-

Red Dead Redemption 2's audio design is second to none. From the immersive use of real-life sounds to the heart-wrenching soundtrack, every moment is enhanced by the audio. The haunting melodies of D'Angelo's "Unshaken" and Rocco DeLuca's "Crash of Worlds" will stay with you long after you put the game down.

Realistic World-

Rockstar's attention to detail is simply astounding. The world feels alive, from the bustling towns to the vast, untamed wilderness. You can almost feel the texture of every pebble on the ground. The NPCs have their own lives and routines, creating a living, breathing environment that captivates you. One of the most remarkable aspects of Red Dead Redemption 2 is the ongoing sense of discovery it offers.

Even years after its release, I'm still finding new and unique interactions throughout the game world. The sheer depth of detail means that every playthrough brings with it the potential for unexpected encounters and surprises.

As you wander the Wild West, you might stumble upon hidden treasure maps, secret side quests, or quirky interactions with the diverse cast of characters populating the world. Whether it's a chance encounter with a wandering stranger, a hidden cave that holds untold mysteries, or a rare animal species yet to be discovered, the world of Red Dead Redemption 2 keeps you engaged and excited to explore every nook and cranny.

This enduring sense of wonder and exploration is a testament to the game's commitment to immersing players in a world that feels not just real but alive, always ready to reward your curiosity with something new and unexpected.

Cons:

Online Aspect: While Red Dead Online offers a fun multiplayer experience, it didn't receive the same level of post-launch support and content updates as GTA Online did. The online world feels less dynamic and can sometimes suffer from a lack of activities to keep players engaged. It's a missed opportunity for what could have been an exceptional multiplayer experience.

In conclusion, Red Dead Redemption 2 is an absolute must-play for anyone who enjoys immersive storytelling, stunning graphics, and an unforgettable open-world experience. With the added bonus of playing it on the Steam Deck, you can now carry this Wild West epic with you wherever you go. The cons are minor in comparison to the sheer brilliance of the single-player experience, making it a game you won't want to miss. Saddle up and ride into a world that feels as real as the pebbles beneath your feet.

This game brings old school gaming back to life in many ways. The art style and music is very true to it's era. Gameplay brings back the toughness that classic 2d scrollers gave us. This game will sure make you rage but you'll come back to it till you rage again and so forth. 10/10
