There's really not much to say about this game that hasn't already been said. Play it. Go in blind. Seriously the best gaming experience ever made. I wish I could get amnesia and play it for the first time again.

Nothing bad to say about it after almost 13 hours in. Every system functions very well, the gameplay loop is addicting, graphics and aesthetics are top notch, it's well optimized, and I could go on. The highlights for me are the crafing and inventory management. As long as you have the resource anywhere in your base, you can craft it. You don't have to walk back and forth gathering stuff from your storage lockers, and they even allow to auto craft pre-requisites materials without going to another crafting menu! The auto looting system is excellent as well. I can tell a lot of thought was put into cutting out the boring bits and just getting you to the fun driving.
Excited to get back into the zone.

Early Access Review
Its a fun, refreshing experience. Simple game play not diluted by operators, special abilities or unique items. No micro transactions or paywalls, just unlock stuff by playing the game! Im not too good at it but its just so much fun!

What a great game. Community is great, devs are great, gameplay is great, core game loop is great, all around a solid game.

Such an amazing game, it's wonderful to have Valve back making games again. It's a solid 10/10 experience, and I say this with no exaggeration, every aspect of the game is perfect. Valve's attention to detail and care for the player experience show through here so well, and they made no compromises in bringing Half Life to VR. The story, gameplay, level design, puzzles, combat, world design, characters, everything holds up to and even surpasses the previous Half Life titles. Gun play is fantastic, and never once did I find myself complaining about some mechanic that didn't work well or wasn't fun. The gravity gloves make you feel like such a badass, and the game is made in a way that there is forgiveness in your actions. Throwing and moving stuff in VR will never be perfect, but this game is really forgiving without feeling like it's holding your hand too much. When I put the headset on I really feel like I'm transported to City 17 again, and hours can pass without me feeling fatigued, bored or overwhelmed. I can't wait to see what Valve has for us in the future.

Probably the best game of all time. Story, visuals, lore, voice acting and level design are all top notch. This is valve's greatest game to date.

I've played the game a lot, and I've had a lot of fun with it. But sadly, I get frustrated more often than I have fun. The matchmaking is very rarely balanced, my motto is you either roll or get rolled. There is an in between, but you find it so rarely. But when you do, magic happens. If balanced matches were my only complaint, I'd keep playing the game but there are more issues. There are some really crappy mechanics like random crits and autobalance. RNG has no place in a skill based shooter. Nothing feels more unfair and unfun than going into a fight that you expect to win, or at least be able to retreat from, only to get one shot because RNG said you deserve to die. The worst feeling is walking out of spawn or going around a corner only to get killed by a crocket launched from across the map. Autobalance is hot garbage too. You've been doing well and having fun on your team? Too bad, the other team is down a player so you get to change sides. Oh? You were just about to win? Too bad so sad.

There are plenty of other games out there that are just as fun that don't have poorly balanced teams or BS game mechanics. Go find one of those and play it and save yourself the frustration of this game.

This game was a very enjoyable experience for me. I generally don't play these indie survival games, mostly after getting fed up with the tedium that is Ark. However, this game was a breath of fresh air. For one, nothing is tedious. You do not have to spend hours gathering resources to craft anything in this game, just a few minutes of scavenging will yield most resources. However, as you wish to build and craft more exotic goods, you will be pushed to explore this amazing world in search of more stuff. Before you know it, you will be hundreds of meters down, looking for valuable and rare resources only so you can go even deeper. That's pretty much it. There's a fun, light story that points you in the right direction, but after that it's up to you to do what you want. The game does a fantastic job of never getting boring, you will always be something else's prey, though nothing should ever kill you out of the blue. There are plenty of audio and visual clues to warn you that potential danger is nearby.
