One of the few "retro shooters" that have come out recently that seriously scratched that itch/filled the void. Games like Ion Maiden, STRAFE and the updated classics like Shadow Warrior, Blood and Strife help.

But new games like STRAFE and Ion Maiden kick butt. Really looking forward to more of the game being released.

Yeah I mean it's CS. Been playing it since '99. Fun game.

Fun game. Especially with friends. So far Huntress is God-mode.

Weird. Fun. Over the top. Satisfying. Outlandish. Dead Nazis.

Hotline Miami in first person with a flare of Heavy Bullets. Fun game. Took me about 90 minutes taking my time but it also came with Heavy Bullets for free until 11/2/2017.

Awesome FPS that fits right between Wolf3d and Doom.

Ignore SmokeMcCloud, he's a prick and got banned from the chat server over being a moron and is blaming the DEV's for his behavior.

Game is great and the dev's show they care about the game and community.

After over 100 hours, it really is one of my favorite games. The updates made it way more tight as it should be and damn, the challenge is just fun. I even have every achievement, it's just a blast. A lot more to the game than what it seems, tons of secrets, easter eggs and stuff.

I love shooters. New shooters, old shooters, good ones and bad ones. This is new and good.

TAKE NOTE:

This is a game you remember playing. NOT a game that existed back then.
That is the difference.

Of course it has certain elements of old school shooters but it is its own game, something different but familar. The game has so many updates to it months after release and some really cool ones to come according to the blog. If you're a fan of shooters or rogue-likes at all, this is a no-brainer.

For real. Way over 100 hours in a month.


The Millennium Edition update is everything and more. Even more boss it's 50% off for 48 hours.

Try-hards spam the same attacks over and over but it's a fighting game online.

No dedicated servers but it's worth it when you slice through a heavy af Orochi.

Played 20+ hours in the betas, loved it.

Don't buy the season pass (like Siege) and don't buy skill tree unlocks (like Battlefield) and problem solved.

Edit: Pretty much turned into a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ after release. Can't recommend. Best time was during beta and first 2 weeks of release.

Better than Resident Evil 4.

Honestly, I want to like this.

The gameplay is just so uninteresting.
