It's a fun and simple visual novel, with comedy and romance.
Multiple routes with many colourful and interesting characters, but the everyday scenes are much longer than the romance scenes.
It's not going to change your life or anything. It's fun for anyone who likes "cute girls do cute things".

Best girl is Multi.

There are issues:
- It uses too much GPU and CPU for a 3D game that looks relatively simple. My laptop is a RTX 4080 with a 14th gen Intel i9. It'll run the CyberPunk performance loop at an average 89 fps at 2560x1440 with everything maxed out. Yet it struggles running this game.
While you have an option to change the resolution, I changed from 4k to 1080p, and I couldn't discern any visual difference and it seems to be using the same graphics resources. So you're force either manually change the monitor to lower resolutions to run or have a powerful computer to run it.
- To keep reading the stories from different characters, you need to start from the beginning and skip the parts you read before. To skip you can hold the ctrl key or press the shift key. It takes a very long time to skip and with the performance issues mentioned, it's even slower than you would think. It really needs a skip whole scene, something I've seen in other visual novels before but never used them because normally it's a lot faster.
- Sometimes it lets "you", the main character Hiroyuki, to run around the school until you get the next scene, however you can't do anything besides walking. I don't see the point of it, you can see everything while reading the novel anyway.
- Minor quibble, but it doesn't include a mini game that came with one the versions of the game. I saw it on youtube and it's a side scrolling airplane shooting game, but you're a witch. I probably wouldn't played it.

It's a really fun hack n slash, Saber is hilarious, all the characters are fun and they all feel unique enough when you're using them, but it has an average story, so don't expect anything on the same level of Fate/stay night(the Visual Novel I mean) or Fate/Zero. Not that Fate/Extra had a great story to being with and personally I don't think F/s n and F/E were as great as many think they are.
You don't really need to watch/play/read anything before playing this game, except of course knowing a bit before playing this game will make it more interesting. The game works on its own. I recommend a controller for playing it.

The only real problem I have is that the camera view is a pain, there isn't any options to have it always pointing to the front of your character or to focus it on any targets, so you often end up slashing to the "back" of your screen because at least on my computer the character I'm playing with seems unable to turn and attack at the same time the camera view turns, regardless of whether I'm using my keyboard or the XBox controller.

Little Busters is one of my favourite VN(Visual Novel). I probably completed it 3 or 4 times before it was released on steam and I completed it here again.

What's to say about LB?

-It's basically Little Busters Perfect Edition from Japan with English included, the latest version of it ever.
-Made by KEY(known for Kanon, Clannad, Air, Rewrite).
-One of the writers is Jun Maeda, who besides working on many KEY VNs, he's known for the anime Angel Beats and Charlotte.
-Good story, with plenty of friendship and drama.
-It's hilarious and fun. The kind of reading where you smile even when there aren't any jokes.
-9 routes and all of them worth reading.
-Memorable characters, I like even the male dormitory head who has I think about 6 lines of dialogue.
-Great art.
-Good music.
-A big cat.
-Friendship.
-Battles.

Now there are few things I'm not a fan of:

-Baseball minigame gets repetitive fast(all minigames can be skipped).
-Game was made originally in a 4:3 aspect ratio and this edition is 16:9. It doesn't affect much most of the time, but CG scenes will be cut and you need to press "space bar" and use the scroll wheel of your mouse to zoom out to see the whole picture. It should've been included an option to play in the original aspect ratio.
-Some CGs were changed slightly from the first released version of Little Busters. I don't know if they changed it in the Perfect Edition but even if they did I find it annoying.

Also, I don't care but it doesn't have any 18+ scenes and it's highly doubtful it will have a patch, the Perfect Edition of LB! from Japan doesn't have it, too.

To sum it up, I think Little Busters! is the best VN you can find on steam right now.

I'm giving it a negative review, because it's completely retarded a game like this doesn't even offer an option for different/inverted camera view.
A certain similar game from freaking 1999 has done better than that.
