I really enjoyed this game and it is rather addictive. The companion is rather quirky and talkative, while you travel around trying to escape the moon. It reminds me of a cross between Resident Evil and Alien. Great game.

You meet some wonderful people.

Some that become great, but more that are likely to become disposable.

I have been enjoying this game. It is tough but that is the delight of this game. No one is compelled to purchase the season or complete challenges. I just joining some random people and playing with them. It is even better when they have their mics on.

This game is a slow, dedicated shooter. If you want something that resembles popcorn, then go for a paid first person shooter, but you will soon forget whether you have played it or not. I have missed a thoughtful and paced shooter which rewards brain over brawn. Get this if you want a shooter which resembles the good old days.

Updated Comment:
I returned to this game for the first time in many years and was pleasantly surprised at how far this game has become. It still feels a little clunky at times but it is definitely a better version many years later.

I had much fun finding familiarity with the controls and had to spend a little time adjusting to how much things were now. In the game, you can build a base, create pure matter from a furnace, as well as discover some hidden locations.

I tend to think of this game more like a mash between Minecraft and Elite. Well worth revisiting if you have time.

Original Comment:
I would recommend that you do not purchase the game as it is. This is because the game is not complete and is not ready in its current state. There is a lot of unfinished promises at the moment and expect the game to a polished ready to sell item in perhaps six months time.

After playing a short while, you realise that the game is as random as a dice. You only get limited bases and points of interest. The planets are predictable and not suitable for exploring. It is not a sandbox game and is wholly under-prepared.

Do not buy it. I am usually a positive gamer but this game has made me give up. Not played in weeks.

I have only played Campaign a little as with Zombies and played a lot of Multiplayer so this reviews reflects this. The Campaign is very very good and a lot of work has gone into it. The cut scenes are brilliant as is the voice acting. Definitely worth playing and they throw you straight into the deep end. The Zombies is not easy one bit. You play with a group of other players but the zombies and everything else are really really tough but I do like the voice acting in this as well as the characters. The map and scenes are great.

The Multiplayer is a very different animal. They have worked on the very best parts of the previous Black Ops games and brought this together. The game is very dependent upon the PC specs that you have so if you have a mediocre PC with a Graphics Card which is around 3-5 years old, replace it. You will not be able to run this GPU intense game. My PC is a year old and when built it had the latest specs but now I can see it is straining but it keeps up. There is a lot of annoyance from other PC gamers that their system doesn't run the game but the recommended specs are there for you to read and digest. Don't buy this game if your system is below it.

If you are fortunate to have a very good PC, this game will run smooth and free from any problems. Before I played the game, I made sure that all things were updated including graphics and stuff. I then started the game, went into the Graphic Systems and then made some changes. I put everything to Middle rather than High and then also set my Frames Per Second to 80. Since putting these settings into place and not straining my PC, I have not suffered from crashes or black screens.

This is a very good game and I would highly recommend it if you like the previous Call of Duty series. I am having as much fun as I used to have a number of years ago in Modern Warfare 2 and Black Ops 2. Compared to PS3 or Xbox 360 users, we have the Campaign but they do not. This says a lot about how demanding the game is now on PC so make sure your PC can run it.

If you enjoy this, you will spend literally hours playing the game. I know I have!

I have returned to the world of Grand Theft Auto after about 5 years away and boy am I pleased to be back! It has been such a long wait for this title but to be honest it was worth the wait.

First off, if you don't have a decent graphics card, I am afraid you will have to stump up the cash to get one. Secondly, you do need a decent PC to run this as this isn't your second grade port from a console - a lot of work has gone into the PC version of this game and it does show.

As I have a 360 controller connected to my PC, it has been very useful. However, there are very few hints to help you master the controls from the start of the game. You have to fumble around and experiment for a little bit to ensure you know what to do and how to do it when the time calls for it. It took a few goes on the first level of the single player part of the game to get used to the controls. However, once you master the controls on a gaming pad, it is a very engaging game and it really does pay dividends.

The single player version of the game is incredibly engaging - you can play a number of different characters and work your way up the ranks (just like any GTA game). The cars are beautiful and the AI characters are wonderfully unpredictable. I do like the way you can stumble into a fight or pickpocket and you can save the day. It is great and you do feel part of the GTA world. The story keeps you hooked and the way you can interract with the other characters is fully rewarding.

The multiplayer part of the game can be a bit hit or miss. You join servers with people from all over the world and you can see other players stutter across the map. However, once you find a good server, you can either join various missions and games or you can explore the GTA world and shoot the other players that have joined. Once you work your way up the ranks, more things are unlocked and you can do various other things. The multiplayer version of the game is really geared up for players to connect and help each other. You can join gangs and cause a lot of chaos.

To wrap up this review, a lot of issues that PC gamers may have could be related to inferior PCs or operating systems but to be honest I have had very very few technical issues with this game. It is a solid console port and I am really glad that I waited for Rockstar to deliver a fantastic game which I will enjoy in years to come.
