I think I would have enjoyed this game's story if it wasn't so obsessed with pissing off the player, most specifically with bad game mechanics. I'm sure people would tell me that's the point of LISA but that's not gonna get me to recommend this game.
I think the best way to put it is if I had watched a Lets Play instead of playing it myself I could have enjoyed the story more than having to trudge through the game myself with great mechanics like "restart at your last save point because there is a cliff right after that scene transition". As is, I was too annoyed at the game itself to give a ♥♥♥♥ about what it was trying to do.
