Developers refuse to support Linux by making simple changes to their anti-cheat which has Linux support built in and is as simple as ticking a box. Developers use the excuse of cheating and claim "if a game supports Proton or Linux, they're not serious about anti-cheat."

Team Fortress 2 is finally in a playable state on casual after 5 years of dealing with bots. If valve keeps this up TF2 will remain the most entertaining multiplayer shooter on the market even without substantial content updates. If you ever wanted to try TF2 or start playing after a long time of inactivity now is the time to do that.
