Pros:
Fun story, cool main character.
Still good graphics, it works well in 4K.
Sounds and music is fine.
It's fun to jump around.
Latest version is a lot more playable than early builds were.
Cons:
NPCs have little to no background story.
There are just jumps which are impossible to do.
PhysX kills the FPS randomly, IE sometimes it doesn't affect it, sometimes it drops to about 5ish when I'm on a corridor without any glass/effects/enemies in sight. The community has a way to fix this, some files needs to be overwritten, but still...
Character does unrealistic stunts, which is a problem because it does not do realistic ones in turn: stuff even I can do like pole climbing, clibming and then crounching to the top of railings (even when there is a pole to grab). Instead it just jump over all railings(often to certain death!), it's fine it won't stand on top of a fence, but railings?
It also hangs on stuff like horizontal pipes and wall mounted lights, which is cool, but when it does the camera does not let you look around (contary to when it hangs from a vertical pipe) at all and does not let you move in any direction except letting it go (jump down to whatever death avaits below).
So often instead of going the obvious way, it forces the player to go the hard way which is sometimes still near impossible (too time consuming, and interrupts the fun) despite how it improved a lot since release. This kills immersion.
If you do not kill anyone, only run away, or ocasionally punch, IE you stay true to the role of being a runner and not a serial killer, nothing will change, everything seems to be the same. This ruins immersion, might as well just kill ever cop then, no consequence but at least it's funny when they fly down rooftops instead of the player for a change.
