Early Access Review
Imagine you have minecraft (and the comparison is inescapable) but with worse inventory management and no combat. You have to have certain people online at the same time as you since jobs lock specific activities you need to progress. You will spend hours searching for gold or copper. There's also an ecological simulation going on behind the scenes somewhere. It has no effect on gameplay. Solid 3/5, minecraft is still fun.

Hello Code-11 [Olin],
imagine you had governments, laws and a whole economy system - all in the hand of the players, to every detail. :) I get your point, but Eco actually is a different game than Minecraft and has it's focus at entirely different points: society-building, collaboration, governance, ecology and economics. Nothing of that is offered by Minecraft and Eco has nothing in common with it aside from the blocks. Tech available for minecraft only via mods is basic principle of Eco as well. :)
