I don't replay games all that often, but with the half life series I replay it every 2 years, because I love it so much. Every time I finish episode 2, I dream I have episode 3 to move onto, but alas, not as of yet, but maybe some time.

I've only waited for 18 years, I can wait longer, can't I? ......

Please Gaben

Anyway, here's the order of games I play if anyone wanted to join me on my 2 yearly pilgrimage.

Black Mesa
Half Life 2
Half Life 2: Lost Coast
Half Life 2: Episode 1
Half life 2: Episode 2
Entropy Zero 2 (This is a fan game but it's a great fan interpretation of a sequel to Half life 2, this will have to do until a Half Life 3 is released, I still believe).

I very rarely replay story games, there's like maybe, 5 out of so many I own that I will play more than once, but there's one series I play regularly.

Every 2 years I replay the Half Life series, I honestly think they're some of the best games ever made.

For me, Black Mesa has overtook the original Half Life 1 game, it's just so good on so many levels.

Sure, in a way, Xen can over stay it's welcome, but it's so much better than the OG Xen I honestly don't mind.

So yeah, every two years I will continue to play that half life games in this order:

Black Mesa
Half Life 2
Half Life 2: Lost Coast
Half Life 2: Episode 1
Half Life 2: Episode 2
Entropy: Zero 2

That will be until another Half Life game is made (please Gaben).

Look, it's more Hollow Knight, with a few changes and a few quality of life changes. If you didn't like Hollow Knight, you won't like this. If you liked Hollow Knight, you'll like this. If you loved Hollow Knight, you'll f****** love this game.

Until recently I could play the game fine, now it crashes so often. This is a joke. Fix it.

Probably my favourite rouge like after Binding Of Issac. Only thing I think Issac does way better than this or most rouge likes in general is randomised bosses instead of the same ones every time.

Just finished this game. Yes it's amazing, and a mostly worthy sequel to the previous game. I guess my only two complaints would be it isn't particularly long. I got over 30 hours in the System Shock 1 remake and this I beat at this review time. It is likely a game i'll do another play though of with a different play style, but i'll have to wait a bit first, likely a year.

Secondly, the last couple areas suck royally and you can tell the devs were rushing to finish.

I got this for free but would I have paid full price for it? Absolutely. I feel no other game bar System Shock 1 gets the feeling of being a rat in a cage and then the perfect power fantasy right towards the end.

Nightdive devs, if you read this, I would without a shadow of a doubt buy this game if it got the same remake as System Shock 1. Just saying.

Early Access Review
"It was too big to be called a sword. Massive, thick, heavy, and far too rough. Indeed, it was a heap of raw iron."

I was really looking forward to playing this game again, but because I can't remember my password, and Ubisoft's reset password function doesn't work, i've had to submit a request via ubisoft support. I bought this on steam, why do I have to go through this stupid process.

UPDATE: So, it turned out my Ubislop account had been hacked. It took 50 emails (i'm not even joking, I kept having help requests cancelled even though I had plenty of proof, i've lived in the UK all my life, why would I suddenly change to russian only email address?

Anyway, after 50 help requests and lots of back and forth, they finally opened an investigation. Just short of a week later, I finally got my account back. Seriously, Ubislop support is terrible.

Anyway, the game, it's a pretty fun brainless looter shooter. Not worth full price, get on a sale.
