I'm the type of player who tends to skip over story in video games, so I was a bit skeptical that I would enjoy a game fully focused on its story.

Thankfully, Dispatch excels in their storytelling with interesting characters, difficult decisions that affect the plot, and humor weaved in-between it all. The "dispatching" gameplay is quite enjoyable too as each one of the calls adds a little bit of personality to the cast and the city.

My only complaint is that the game is too short. Hopefully Season 2 comes soon!

P.S. Any Sonar enjoyers?

I have about 1000 hours at this point from before the game joined Steam. This game went from being a beta test pastime to one of my all time favorites. I come from a strategy game/card game background (Hearthstone, TFT, etc.) and this is one of the best.

The quality of the art, voicelines, lore videos, etc. really do match those of top companies like Blizzard and Riot.

I think where the game suffers is in the marketing department, there's definitely been some questionable decisions that have had a negative impact community. Game itself is again, really great though. Would definitely recommend buying it when it's on sale.

One of the best single-player games I've ever played. Finished the story in 30 hours but there's still plenty of additional content that I'll be taking my time doing and infinite build ideas I'll be trying.

Do NOT let the “turn-based combat” push you away from trying this game! You'll be hooked right away even if you usually don't enjoy this style of game. The devs have added in dodging/parrying/QTEs to make combat feel more fast paced, challenging, and interactive than any other turn-based game.

I am expecting this masterpiece to win awards for best story, best soundtrack, best acting, and probably game of the year at The Game Awards 2025. The fact that the team behind the game was so small and newly formed really amplifies their achievement.
