It's a mobile/tablet game. I played it for a bit but it's probably more stressful than the real thing. It's not got as intuitive a control scheme as it purports either - since you have to use the mouse and there are layers of screens for the more complicated dishes (and I'm not wasting memory cells on keyboard shortcuts for those). I'd play it on a tablet but not PC.

Great concept, and a nice enough game, but the overall presentation is very basic, verging on non-existent in the case of animations; where unit graphics glide across the map in an amatuer fashion. In its present state, with it's simplistic gameplay, it feels like you'd be better off playing it on a tablet rather than a PC. Which is a shame because I liked the idea and it shows promise.

The actual football is very good. More fluid and dynamic than ever thanks to the engines improvements. Once fully updated with both custom and official patches the graphics are also the most realistic you'll find, and in contrast to the PS3 version the frame-rate is rock solid, and UI lag is almost non-existent. Almost, but not quite; because there is still some latency built in which makes using it for longer than half an hour quite a chore. The fact they've completely redesigned the UI in the first place and removed a lot of previously interesting features from 2013 also grates. If not for that I would be very happy to recommend the game, but as it is I can only give it a thumbs up for those that want to scratch their footballing itch. As a whole 2013 seems like a more complete game, but there's no denying the improvements to the footballing mechanics in 2014.

Got a nice ebb and flow to this - which is another way of saying it's short and sweet. No filler, just pure awesome.

Crisp, high-definition graphics and a thumping soundtrack. This is a surprising platformer with enough variety and challenge up its sleeve to keep you busy as you hunt for each individual 'spectra'. They've said they'll eventually patch in 'legacy gamepad' support (from the PS3 version) too. Personally I think the mouse controls are fine.

Very slick platformer with an engaging narrative and fantastic scenery to explore.

Seems to have taken more than a little inspiration from Kane & Lynch, Grand Theft Auto 4 and the film Man on Fire but otherwise it's a pretty faithful modern Max Payne.

The gun shooty stuff - the reason you play it - is pretty impressive thanks to the physics on display. the way the enemies react to gun shots is both realistic and distressingly satisfying... I've found myself unloading an entire clip of ammunition *just because* all to often...

The only annoying part is the cut-scenes, since they would have been better done as graphic novels and not in game, but whatever; If you liked previous Max Payne games you'll like this.

Easily my favourite game of the year so far. I've felt pretty lukewarm about previous TellTale games, but this is in a different class. I want moAaaaAAaar!!!

The best football management simulator around. Which isn't saying much when it's *the only* football management sim around, but for all its faults it's a great timesink.

Count me as one of those who like this. Although it can get repetitive and the combat could be more involving and lethal, it otherwise evokes a Michael Mann feel and for some cinematic, mindless shooting action it's pretty decent.
