I got a gaming rig to replace our ailing, 4 year old Dell XPS420 as it was having some major hardware issues.
So, what did we get?
We got an Alienware desktop of course
- the Alienware Aurora R4
- with two AMD Radeon 7900 series graphics cards, carrying 3 GB RAM each, in CrossfireX configuration
- Intel core i7 processor, overclocked to 3.9 GHz
- a Logitech G510 gaming keyboard to go with the G500 mouse we already had
- and because they were on-sale, a pair of Dell 24" Ultra Sharp monitors
