This is a must-play series for anyone who enjoys point-and-click adventure games.

If you're only somewhat interested in the series, I would skip to V and VI. V sets up the story for VI, and VI is still the best point-and-click adventure game to come out of the genre, even today.

I will preface this by saying I stumbled upon this game as a recommendation due to my playing of The Last Door series.

I've only played the first, free, episode, but when the game is completed I do intend on buying it in full. The pixelated graphics, somewhat dark storyline, and interesting story has me more than ready to finish the tale.

The minimalist use of sound effects and the Victorian environment I love from H.P. Lovecraft are done very well. If you enjoy these themes I highly recommend this game.

As a U.S. citizen, voice-acting may be nice, if done well. I sometimes struggle with switching over to U.K. or Irish accents in my head.

All in all, it was a lovely gaming experience and certainly filled my desire for a third game in The Last Door series.

I have to say 'No' based on one aspect of the game, and that's the huge slowdown that occurs when playing in Multiplayer.

I bought the game to play with friends. It started out as a lot of fun - I allied with another player who started nearby. We played with three of us vs. ~30 AI. The game would sometimes slow down, early on, but it was still very much playable and very enjoyable. However, at around 12 hours into a game the slowdown became nearly unbearable. At 20 hours or so in, days could sometimes take minutes.

We all have decent computers and good internet speeds, and reading other reviews I can see it has to do with the amount of thinking the AI has to do. When it takes 5 minutes to make a jump from one star system to another, though, it becomes very unfun.

If Paradox can fix this problem and make the game play at a similar speed to single player games it would be fun. I just can't enjoy getting 5 minutes worth of actual playing in during an hour of waiting for moves to actually take effect.

Great premise, but the execution in multiplayer is unacceptable.

The Whispered World is one of the greatest Adventure games of this generation. The puzzles are a little quirky, and the voice-acting of the protaganist, Sadwick, is a little nasaly, but it will all feel right by the time you watch the credits roll. If you are a fan of the adventure game scene than I highly recommend giving this one a chance.

The Elder Scroll's III: Morrowind is the pinnacle of immersive gameplay. You truly are a stranger in a strange land, trying to make sense out of a native hierarchy that would hail you as the messiah one moment, and cut your throat the next.

Morrowind follows the tradition of Arena and Daggerfall with it's completely open-ended gameplay, allowing the player to do what they want, when they want, and how they want. A definite must-play, even if you are not a fan of the rpg genre.
