My heart bleeds for giving this game thumbs down. It shows so much promise, but it is essentially abandonware.
It has plenty of innovative features, such as the seamless transitions from your ship to stations, leaving your cockpit to repair critical damage while in flight, boarding and more. The shipbuilder is also awesome.
So why thumbs down? There are bugs everywhere, some of them game breaking. Including but not limited to:

• The map not updating properly and showing old icons and markers
  
• Broken quests - some of which you can't return to the game from...

Overall the game lacks polish and parts of the map feel empty. Some features shown on its UI do not seem to be implemented - such as the autopilot.
