Hi! I'm a RMMV dev who used your tileanimrate plugin and was looking to give you a code for my game as thanks!

Here's the steam page for it, if you'd like to take a peek. I can add you as a friend to share the code, or email you, whichever is easiest!

Thanks and have a good one.

Thanks so much for the response. I tried a few things and still no dice, so I've posted a thread here like you suggested: https://v1.steam.hlxgame.cc/app/1096900/discussions/0/4406291470271800950/

Any insight would be appreciated.

@Paradachshund - the key is to ensure you set 2 values on the interpreter: the character reference ("_character" in MV, "_characterId" in MZ) and the wait mode.

As I noted in that thread, in a Script command you can use "this.character(1)" to reference event ID 1, etc. The "this" keyword works differently in a move route script.

Examples for MV and MZ can be found on the script call list, under Set Movement Route:

If you have other questions, feel free to start a thread in the Steam discussions for the relevant maker. (If you do, let me know here so I remember to check it out.) :happy_yeti:

Hello, you don't know me, but I stumbled into an answer you gave someone about movement routes in javascript: https://v1.steam.hlxgame.cc/app/363890/discussions/4/2293968330855722092/

I've been trying to get this working myself, but I can't get the game to wait for the route to complete (my situation is a little different in that I'm trying to run the route on a different event than the one executing the script). Would you be willing to help me figure this out? You're so far my most promising lead on solving this and I would really appreciate it. Happy to talk here or in a DM if you're willing. Thanks!

@Lars - this one? https://forums.rpgmakerweb.com/posts/1167569

Sure, use and/or edit it however you like! You can credit me as Caethyril if you want, but that's optional (it's a very simple little plugin). :steamthumbsup:

Hey caethyril I have a question I found your vehicleSpeed plugin for MV on a forum. Can I use this for my game and if yes what are the terms?

@PHASM: I don't do paid commissions, sorry. You're not the first to ask, so I've added a new section to my profile elaborating on that. Will add you for further discussion, though~ :lunar2019wavingpig:

I've seen you around the community and need to ask, would you be interested in being commissioned for a plugin? Or otherwise answer a few questions to help me sort out a mechanic I've been trying to work on?
