Really enjoyed this one. The atmosphere is great, the story pulls you in, and the visuals look amazing the whole way through. If you like slow-burn sci-fi with a strong mood, this is absolutely worth playing.

Plague Tale: Requiem looks stunning, with beautiful graphics and a rich, atmospheric world. The story is engaging, and the characters feel well-written and memorable. Performance is smooth, which makes the experience even better. However, the combat feels overly complicated and exhausting, often turning into a chore. Having to switch weapons multiple times just to kill one enemy is tedious at best. I loved the first game, but this one feels frustrating and unnecessarily heavy in its gameplay.

Overall, it’s neither good nor bad—just a solid 6/10 experience

Hades II is one of the best games of 2025 and a textbook example of how to make a sequel that surpasses the original. Supergiant Games took everything we loved about the first game and cranked it up to eleven.

More of Everything — and It Works
You play as Melinoë, Zagreus's sister, and the story is richer and more complex than in the predecessor. The content is roughly twice as large as the first Hades — reaching the credits takes around 25 hours, and that's just scratching the surface. New biomes, a cast of new Olympian gods, a deeper combat system, and expanded upgrade trees ensure every run feels distinct.

Audiovisuals — Stunning
The game looks and sounds phenomenal — its enchanting audiovisual layer is one of its biggest strengths.

Steam Deck — An Absolute Perfect Match
This is where Hades II truly shines. The game carries the official Steam Deck Verified status and has run flawlessly since Early Access.

If you played the first game and own a Steam Deck — this is an absolute must-buy.

Forza Horizon 5 – Disappointing Experience for Wheel Players and AI Issues

I wanted to love Forza Horizon 5, but after spending dozens of hours with a driving wheel setup, it’s hard not to feel frustrated by how unpolished the experience is. The game looks amazing and runs smoothly, but the driving physics and difficulty balance are all over the place.

Wheel support feels poorly tuned — inputs are twitchy, force feedback is inconsistent, and many cars simply behave unnaturally compared to other racing titles. It often feels like the game was designed entirely around controller users, leaving wheel players to wrestle with unpredictable handling.

The AI is another sore spot. It’s wildly inconsistent, sometimes driving like beginners and other times rocketing away with impossible cornering speeds. Even at lower difficulty levels, certain showcase events (like “Buggy and the Beast”) are nearly impossible to win. It doesn’t matter if you drop the difficulty to the easiest setting — the AI still pulls ahead as if the assist scaling isn’t applied at all.

It’s disappointing to see a game this visually impressive fail so hard in basic gameplay balance and support for simulation hardware. For anyone expecting a fair challenge or immersive wheel experience, Forza Horizon 5 is sadly not there yet.

The only real highlight is the opportunity to learn more about Joseph’s backstory and his motivations, which adds some nice depth to the character. Unfortunately, the rest of the experience feels boring and tedious. The repetitive gameplay loop quickly becomes a chore, making it more exhausting than enjoyable to finish
