The skill ceiling in this game is crazy. If you're new to this game, try out BlazBlue: CentralFiction instead.
BBCF is an older game, but has a much larger roster in case none of the characters here fit your fighting archetype and has (personally) simpler mechanics to follow. The character gimmicks for BBCF are also easier to pick up and learn without issue aside from a few but that's to be expected with every fighter game.
In this game, most combos are formed with half circles, and you only get ABC movements(?) attacks(?) instead of ABCD. You may be saying "That sounds way easier! Compared to a game with all four keys being used, and with complicated combos to land, this would obviously be easier?". But to my experience, no.

I've spent around 10-20 hours trying out different characters and they all have.. difficult movesets to just pick up and learn along the way. All of them have complex gimmicks that would take at least a hundred hours to even get the hang of, in my eyes.

Maybe it's just because this is a new game, but everything about it feels so complicated and clunky. I hope to edit this review when I improve.

I love the SimCity franchise. This one is the best before the game went to ♥♥♥♥. Really glad it's preserved on Steam and is relatively cheap to buy!

I've played this for about half an hour, and for being in Early Access I gotta say this is fantastic. Too much to go into into a review but I can summarize that I love how everything is so far, although navigation can be quite difficult at times.
