This game is good. but Ea is, and always will be a greedy company that sucks the life-force from any game that they publish if not by pumping the game with micro-transaction it's by making the game so bloated with dlc and fomo marketing strategies where the game almost relies on the dlcs to be playable.
The base Game is Fine and even good but it just feels empty or incomplete but it is free so no point complaining about it. but still if i need to buy a separate dlc just so i can have a cat or a dog but then if i'd want a horse i have to buy a whole separate pack is crazy.
But hey it's free and you can always get the dlcs some other ways. some other ways that ea wont want you knowing.
One thing i feel like i need to mention about this game is the modding scene, it's great! It's one of the only redeemable parts of this game for me.
If you like life sims and being shoved dlc down your throat this game is one of the best for it.

it's a game worth thinking about.
It's more of a story than it is a standard game. the game play consisting of walking and dialog options that lead to the same thing, but that being said i still think the story is good enough to counteract the mundane game play, and the price in my opinion.

Just great. one of the most immersive games i think I've ever played. If you don't think you'd like rpg's play this game with expectations, I'm telling you this game is an magnum opus. It's just fantastic, I couldn't recommend this game more!

disappointed how short the campaign mode was. but the gameplay is fun. The story's good. haven't played the multiplayer so i can't say anything about that. overall: Buy It on sale.

This game is not the best way to play the game.
Don't get me wrong i love this game, and i do think it is one of the best team shooter, or just shooter of all time, but the games current state is just disappointing. it's disappointing in many ways it's disappointing in how valve a respected game company can somehow mess this game up so badly that sometimes the game is literally unplayable. it's disappointing in how the biggest content creators just seam to not care that the game is in an unplayable spot. it's disappointing how the community seems to be always in some kind of war with each other, where one side seems to be focusing on one problem the game has and one side focusing on an other and even they were to focus on one problem they'd still somehow manage to disagree with each other.
the matter of fact is that yes tf2 is a good game BUT the game could and should be in a much better place but until then, and it pain me to say this, but until then i would not recommend this game to newcomers, it's just not in a great place right now, come back later.
