This game was easy to jump into. The amount of things you can do may be overwhelming, but playing with my partner made the time go by faster. You'll have to be patient to get far in the game, & the payoff will be worth it. There's a helpful community with guides for every aspect. Thank you, ConcernedApe for creating this & continuing to develop. You & the community are all loved & appreciated <3

Just finished the campaign & I loved this game from start to finish. The story unfolds as you progress. The vibes remind me of Metroid Prime. It has platforming and puzzles, and lore to collect. Great game for stoners.

Just finished the campaign. Will probably play it again with director's commentary, plus free roam was just released.

+Graphics
+Story
-Story gets sad towards the end, which explains the negative reviews.
-Your choices only affect dialogue.

I'd probably play a sequel.

It was pretty fun. Relatively short campaign. I didn't care much for the story & didn't find myself using the upgrades too often. Not my type of platformer, but you may like it better.

+ Graphics
+ Boss fights were fun.
- Characters jump like drunken monkies.
- Repetitive and dull levels.

Finally finished the campaign with 2 out of 3 endings. There's definitely enough gameplay in here to justify the price. It gives off Portal vibes. I like the storyline with religion, philosophy, predestination, and free will. Make sure to talk to the computer for a separate story.

+ Long campaign.
+ Great story.
+ Multiple endings.
+ Difficult (had to watch YouTube guides for like 30% of the puzzles).

I'll probably buy the DLC as well.

Played this after playing the original version, this is pretty much the same review with new content in the last paragraph. Hands down the best 2D platformer I've ever played. For me, it's like a combination of Spyro the Dragon & Metroid.

+ Graphics & music are beautiful.
+ Great plot.
+ Gameplay is fun, not too easy or hard.
+ Lots of collectables and RPG elements, including a skill tree.
+ Diverse array of enemies.

New content: This edition adds early development footage which shows attacks, enemies, and puzzles that didn't make it into the game. There are two new attacks and two new optional areas. I look forward to a sequel.

Just finished the campaign. I'm not really into shooters, so I stuck through it for the story that everyone keeps talking about. Unfortunately, the "choices" you make throughout the game don't have an impact on the story. The gameplay and story together seem more realistic than other war shooters. I love having to run out of ammo and take guns from dead enemies; keeps the tension going.

+ Beautiful, immersive environment.
+ 3rd-person gameplay is intuitive.
+ Intense linear story.
+ Multiplayer is fun. Haven't tried co-op yet but I imagine it's great.
+ Your AI partners actually help.
+ Not too easy or difficult.

I'd consider playing a sequel.

Just finished the campaign. Hands down the best 2D platformer I've played since Crash Bandicoot on PS1. People compare this to Metroid; I've only played the Prime series, but there are definitely similarities. A controller is recommended.

+ Graphics are beautiful.
+ Great plot.
+ Gameplay is fun, not too easy or hard.
+ Lots of collectables and RPG elements, including a skill tree.
+ Diverse array of enemies, similar to Metroid.

Was hoping for a big boss battle but it never came, probably for the best. I look forward to sequels or more games from the developers.

Just beat the campaign. It's scary as ♥♥♥♥ and made me (a grown ass man) shriek out loud at one point. I only played this at night and immersed myself in the game. Once you realize it's a stealth game, not action, the enemies become less scarier. There are still occasional jumpscares that will scare the crap out of you, but you learn to expect them. Some tips to make it less scary: turn the volume down because the music is creepy as hell, RUN and HIDE, turn the brightness/gamma up. Also your breathing gets louder when enemies are near. I plan on getting Outlast 2, especially after playing the demo.

+ Graphics are great.
+ Unique gameplay, bringing surival horror to the current gen. I've only played a little Amnesia, but I can see the similarities.
+ Scary as hell.
+ Lots of documents to collect to learn the backstory.

- Lots of backtracking, repetitive plot.
- Although I never ran out of batteries, I thought the nightvision should last longer.

Very unique game. Shows that graphics don't make good gameplay.

+ Simple to play.
+ Hidden easter eggs with bonus level.
+ Not too easy or hard.

- Only one boss?
