this game feels like a half-baked action novel written by someone who knows nothing about prison. the story goes nowhere and all gameplay is pressing mouse buttons and the 'e' key when a popup shows up on screen. don't ever buy this game at full price

TL;DR The best 3D successor of factorio you'll ever find

This game is jaw-droppingly addicting. Progression consists of finding new and clever ways to string automated production buildings in the name of efficiency to produce as much as possible. You get the dopamine hit of increasing numbers, with all the sandboxing of minecraft, and a heavy sprinkle of puzzling and mathing if you choose to dive into the more technical bits of the game.

Plus, the game is graphically beautiful. I'm surprised more people don't mention it in their reviews. On max settings this game rivals some modern AAA titles.

The game still has a fair amount of jank due to being in early access. Most are graphical bugs, while a few might have gameplay implications. None I've ever found have been a big enough detriment to hinder my enjoyment of the game. All are fixed with a simple search on online forums.

Buy it, ESPECIALLY if it's on sale. Bonus points if you have a friend or a partner you could persuade to play with you. The factory must produce.

Starstruck is a wholly unique experience from any other game on steam. It weaves elements of RPG's and rythym games together into a mesh of beautiful music, engaging gameplay, and subversive storytelling. The themes that this game explores are quite heavy in nature, and heavily contrast the game's typical bright, comedic aesthetic. I will be eagerly waiting for the full game's release in 2021. The demo only takes about an hour to play through so if you're looking for something to kill some time with, please give this a try.
