Remember to save periodically, my character got stuck 3 times.

Overall good game for being 26 years old.

This game has issues.

1. Even on the lowest graphical settings this game is GPU heavy.
2. Some of the cards are useless
3. The npcs PPs are comically yuge.
4. The moaning is off-putting (you can turn this off)
5. The music is repetitive and restarts every time you enter combat (you can turn this off)
6. The game is only 3 levels deep and ends when defeating the archdemon
7. The sex animations are bad enough that I had to go back to the steam store to see if I actually paid for this game. (I did)


I understand that making games is not easy... But paying for this game with real money, I expected the cards to be good, the graphics to not turn my pc into a space heater, the npcs/monsters to not have funny ♥♥♥♥♥, the moaning to be professional, the music to be enjoyable, the animations to be good, and the game to not end when you effectively become the new archdemon.

Porn just makes a good game better.

Basically a flash game that doesn't allow you to save without an XGen account.

AI just does rat hood ♥♥♥♥ every game. Even playing on Prince difficulty.

Civ doesn't want you settling near their border and then goes out of their way to settle near yours.

Barbarians gang up in teams and will actually hunt you down just to suicide attack you.

Civs starting wars for seemingly no reason and then wont even build military units and attack.

Civs will interrupt your game just to talk ♥♥♥♥ constantly. (good luck playing large maps)

Turning god rays off makes the game run worse somehow.

LINUX USERS READ BEFORE BUYING!

Launcher settings is BROKEN and is set to Japanese on default!
Thanks to the homies over at ProtonDB I learned that you can change it to English in the game files!

I e-mailed Square Enix customer support for this exact solution and they basically told me to ♥♥♥♥ off. Here is the email reply I got.

We are sorry to hear that you are still having issues with Final Fantasy X/X-2 on Steam.

Unfortunately the game is not designed for use on Linux systems and we cannot offer advice on how to resolve this issue. The game is only available for Windows on PC so in order to play it would be necessary to use Windows. While the use of emulation-type software may allow you to run the game on Linux this is entirely unsupported so we cannot assist with troubleshooting on this platform.

This game is a middle finger to your face. They knew exactly what they were doing back in 1990 to piss you off. UNFAIR. UNJUST. UNACCEPTABLE. Papyrus from Undertale is in this game.
