Where Winds Meet feels shockingly close to a full-fledged AAA open-world title—yet it’s completely free-to-play. The visuals are stunning, the sound design is rich and atmospheric, and the voice acting lands far better than you’d expect from a F2P release.
Yes, the game throws an avalanche of systems and mechanics your way—sometimes more than it needs to—but none of it forces you toward your wallet. You can genuinely play, progress, and enjoy the world without spending a dime.
Despite its complexity, the world is thoughtfully crafted, and at the core of everything is a simple truth: it’s just a really fun game to play.

Fun game.
It is not a play it for 10 years game but it is fun, there is loads to do, the game looks great and the systems in place are solidly implemented. I can see playing this for a few months at least.
I thought the lack of mounts would be a negative for me but I like the ability to shapeshift into the mount in air, ground and water.
The combat is not the best but is serviceable.
The world is beautiful and the weather has impact very well done.

Awesome soundtrack for an under-rated gem of a game.

Eh. That is how I feel about it. It is very similar to Valheim. Valheim has a real understanding of frustration levels and builds in the care to eliminate it as best it can considering the genre it is in.
Enshrouded has a lot of work to do in this area. The game is big, bold, and beautiful but the levels of frustration playing it is high. I have death markers everywhere on my world and valuable resources are stored in them. I venture out to retrieve them only to die again. Valheim has similar mechanic but lessens the death percentage by providing the ability to negate it in more ways. I think the game is ok. That is about my review. In time, with balance and adjustments perhaps they can sort it for players like myself who values a more laid back style of play.

This game has gone from good at launch to decent after launch to great now.
I understand there are players that will want it to be something it is not but the game is a quality MMORPG experience that is not P2W, great graphics, great sound and wonderful and fun systems like crafting, gathering, music playing, player housing and transmog system.
Not sure why their are complaints. Wonderful game that is really getting love from the developers. Awesome time coming back. Full servers and tons of fun.

Super fun game.
I am not a Hammerwatch vet so to speak. I messed around with the first one a bit but after playing the demo I bought the game.
I am enjoying it quite a bit.
The game takes a bit of pace management to progress through. If you rush into a place you can become overwhelmed easily. I like the ability to select skills and upgrades, I like the art style, I love the music. Very well done and a joy to listen to.
Navigating is a bit of a pain sometimes and it is confusing where something is but overall it is well worth the time
and at a good price point.

Awesome job. It is built on a shoestring budget and it shows but boy has the team tapped into the old school RPG vibes.
Really fun so far. No hand holding. Exploration is required and rewarding. Weapon swapping early game is really needed which is a shame it is not present but the game hits right where it needs to in the old computer RPG feels.
Really good lighting and music. Crafting is useful and as must to survive. SAVE OFTEN!
Awesome job!

Charming visual style
(Finished it on Playstation).
Classic Nintendo-Playstation like third person action adventure game.
Good controls.
Good Sound Design.
The one thing that keeps it down for me is the main character is not as charming as the world she finds herself in.
Navigation is a little confusing at times but not game breaking.
Overall the game is a solid game with better than average production values.

Fun game.
It is Animal Crossing on PC with people instead of animals and in Australia.
Good game play loop.
Craft, water crops, feeds animals, do tasks.
Vehicles are a good addition. Can get a rowboat, jetski, motorbike.
The mine is fun.
Wish the map was bigger but for what you are paying for there is a ton to do and see.

If you like Animal Crossing, buy it. You will be very happy.

Couple hours in and it is a really fun game. Takes a few to get the hang of things but once you get into it the game flows very well. Crafting is non-punishing and intuitive. Dungeon delving is a blast. Very fun game and well worth the small fee. Better than I thought it would be!
