The co-op experience is highly entertaining! It's possible to play it with anyone, the Rusty Lake discord server has a room with voice channels dedicated for that. If you can't use your voice to communicate with others, or just find it uncomfortable to talk with strangers, you can also find a partner and play the game by chatting with each other.

What I found rather interesting is that you don't need to link up with each other online to play the game. You play the same game on your system of choice but on different paths and the information on one path is used to guide the player on the other path and vice-versa. What sounds like a simple idea is presented in an innovated way of means I haven't seen or experienced before. Perhaps it's my lack of game variety I indulged myself over the years but I truly found this experience to be groundbreaking. It took me almost 3,5 hours to complete the campaign with the partner I just met online but the experience was just so fun for both of us. Highly recommend.
