Super Meat Boy may seem a throwback to the 8-bit platformers of old, and in a way, it very much is. But behind the deceptively beautiful simplicity is a VERY "meaty" gameplay expereince. The game IS very challenging, and you die A LOT, in very funny/aggravating ways, but it always give you a feeling that you "get it on the next one." With "hidden" bandages, warp zones, the ever so hard to acquire "glitch acheivements," a full level editior, a user made map portal, and over what, 200 levels out of the box.... Buy the game, trust me. You may get splattered all over the screen, but once you start, you'll keep coming back for more.
