Every few levels the game completely reinvents itself. There's just so much fun to be had, and I haven't even started working through the huge number of mods in the workshop. The gameplay loop of planning-racing-improvising is exhilarating, and the destruction physics are just so much fun. Plenty of games have already tried these ideas, but Teardown is the first where everything is perfectly interwoven into an unforgettable experience.

€20/US$20 is a steal. I give very few games an unconditional recommendation, but this is one of them. If you enjoy games of any kind, you'll probably love Teardown.

I enjoyed it a lot. Great puzzles, well presented.

I played it single-player - it's more challenging without other people because a lot of clues are hidden in the environment, but it's still possible to do alone. There's a built-in hint system in case you get stuck.

"Meh" review. It's decent, not amazing. Worth €15/$15 at most. Their earlier game, Prey Mooncrash, has similar gameplay but MUCH better execution:

DEATHLOOP's story segments and core gameplay are fun, but its mid-to-late-game pacing ruins it. Roughly half of your playtime will be speedrunning between objective markers unlocking clues and/or new equipment. You run out of places to explore and meaningful character upgrades at the half-way point, but still have to do a ton of objectives to get the rest of the story. It's a chore.

It tries to use Immersive Sim-style gameplay by offering a variety of weapons, powers and tactics, but they're so unbalanced that there's little point in experimenting. My first non-"common" gun was a silenced SMG that could headshot someone from 50m away - no other weapons could even compare, and I just stopped trying new guns after a while. The same happened with the powers.

It's like a bargain bin cross between Duke3D and Serious Sam. The level design is particularly good, and there's a lot that will surprise and delight you. Worth every cent.

Branching paths and 8 possible endings based on choices made throughout the game. You have to repeat the game to see the full story. No manual saves, no reloading previous saves, no skipping cutscenes, multiple clicks needed to skip each line of dialogue. This game has no respect for your time.

The story I got with the first ending was relatively interesting (albeit obviously incomplete), but I'm not prepared to spend another 7 hours mostly repeating content to see the rest of the story.

This anti-player crap has ruined the experience for me. I'd have had a great experience if I could have skipped through the parts I had already played to see the other endings. Now I'm left with a crappy choice of either abandoning it with an incomplete story, or spending MOST OF A DAY replaying it to see the other paths.

Very short - only took me 35 minutes. The puzzles were adequate. Not overly challenging, but at least not in any way grindy.

Shame about the price. Don't buy it unless it's on one of its usual 90%-off sales. The base price is absurd. The discounted price of €1/US$1 is fair.

Disclaimer: Blackhaven currently has horrible FPS drops for some people. Even though my PC is only slightly below the recommended specs, I had to run at very low graphics settings to get over 30FPS. If you can't tolerate imperfection on a free game, this isn't the game for you. If you can look past it, an engrossing, unique experience awaits you.

It's a linear adventure with no real challenges, but I just love how everything fits together - the museum quiz, the audio tour, the slow reveal of the history and plot twists. It's like everything a real-world museum visit should be and more. I don't normally like walking simulators, but the way this story was told was just perfection. I can't wait for the follow-up game, Cassius.

For a free game, this is pretty awesome. It's basically a playground of the stealth mechanics you'd see in games like Dishonored or Thief. Some bits lack polish, e.g. there's no adjustment of controls or resolution, but as long as you keep in mind this is a FREE GAME and look past it, there's a lot of fun to be had with Honored. Great level design and fun gameplay.

I didn't encounter any of the bugs other reviews have mentioned. I guess they've already been fixed.

SOTANO has some good and diverse puzzles of varying difficulties. They won't amaze you with their innovation or beauty, but you'll definitely need to engage your brain to get through them all. This isn't a game to get you hooked on puzzle games, but it will help fuel your addiction.

Decent puzzles at an appropriate price. Overall I enjoyed it and would recommend it to other puzzle addicts.

Well designed puzzles, nice environment design, appropriate price. This isn't the most polished game - you'll likely hit a few bugs but nothing game breaking. If you're a fan of escape room games it's still worth your time.
