If you played platformers in the '90s, you will love this game. It's very similar to Duke Nukem 1 and 2, but it has much better, more interesting level design.

It only takes 90 minutes to complete on Normal difficulty, but if you've ever tried playing Commander Keen or Duke Nukem without the nostalgia goggles, you'd know 90 minutes is actually the perfect amount of time to spend on a 2D low-res platformer before going back to modern games.

Overall, it's fun. Buy it.

Good premise, interesting story and gameplay, but just really really badly put together game. You have to move your mouse quickly, often around the edges of the screen, but it doesn't lock the mouse to the window. In full screen mode, if you have multiple monitors, you'll often find yourself clicking outside the game, causing it to minimize. Windowed mode is practically unplayable.

The resolution selector is just a set of -/+ buttons - you have to sit there clicking +, with the screen flashing until you think you've got the right resolution (it doesn't tell you).

The icing on the cake is that while 95% of the levels are fun, 5% of them are incredibly tedious and will probably make you ragequit.

Fester Mudd certainly lives up to its promise of being an old-school adventure game, with obvious inspiration from Monkey Island. It's well structured and has just the right level of challenge. There is a fair amount of humor and wit, but there's definitely room for more. Overall I found it quite enjoyable, and I'm looking forward to Episode 2.

Because of its brevity (2.5hrs), I can only recommend this at the sale price of $5.

Weird and a bit unpolished, but surprisingly fun. Quite short though - only took me 5 hours to complete.

This game may look like Minecraft, but there's actually no crafting and mining is an optional extra. The core of this game is fighting your way through a randomly generated world, doing random quests, improving your stats and getting better items.

Yes, this sounds like every other randomly generated game out there, but 3079 is novel enough and short enough that you won't get bored of it.

It is clear that the two developers are skilled at game art and level design - Estranged is very pretty for a HL2 mod, but this game is lacking in novelty. There is nothing exciting about the story or gameplay - nothing to keep me interested. It's just another "follow the linear path while shooting zombies" game.

I hope this mod will help them attract a larger team or get jobs in the games industry, where they can continue making beautiful environments and characters, while other people work on making the experience enjoyable.

More meta than the most meta thing ever. An incredible, albeit only about 4-hour long experience.

A captivating story, superbly told.
