The story is like this review: non-existant.

Very story driven. Beautiful graphics, beautiful game. Wonderful experiance.

Chopped down trees,
Fought off wolves,
Survived forest fire,
Grew an epic beard,
Starved to death,

Beardly/10 - would grow again.

Installation was rough, didn't run well on my compter and crashed a lot. Even aside from that the game felt like it needed a few more months polish to make a solid game.

This game is nothing short of amazing! It's Mario with the ability to travel through time. The time traveling mechanic is brilliantly incorporated and provides loads of sweet puzzles and gameplay. The story of the game is subtly incorporate thoughout, which allows you to skip over it if you're only interested in the puzzles. This of course would be a horrible mistake on your part as the story is perfection.

Bastion is a beautiful game both artistically and mechanically. The gameplay allows for a relaxed enjoyment of the story, speed runs with powerful combo weapons, or clawing your way toward victory inch by grueling inch. I've played the game several times and each playthrough was fantastic.

Addicting. I love being able to setup my own prison and run it how I want. I love all the detail that's put into the game. The tutorials are kinda boring though, and I at least missed quite a bit. I'd recommend watching some youtube videos to get the hang of getting started. It's not fun when you can't even get your prison started.

This game is perfection. The mechanics are straight forward but present so many different possibilities. The game is shorter than most, but seeing as at no point during the game you feel like you're wasting time or running a fetch quest, short isn't bad.
