for a game all about shooting giant hordes of zombies they sure managed to make the whole shooting part feel terrible and impossible to enjoy

Finally not another warehouse.
Probably the best of the three we've got so far in this Palatucci arc.
You get to do more things than just opening boxes and grabbing bags.

Unfortunately prone to softlocking if you try to be fast and do objectives out of order.
Shipped with known bugs that impact gameplay severely, like the security room keycard being inaccessible if you roll the wrong half of the mall.

Musket is a disappointing joke weapon, it doesn't even kill a bulldozer in one shot. The bayonet on it deals more damage than the bullet.

this heist is not worth 8 bucks
it's basically party powder 2, so it's not terrible at least. if you liked that you will like this.
the map is pretty small and compact. ends much sooner too, because there doesn't seem to be a meth lab this time around. randomization is what's supposed to give it extra flavor, but not sure if that's worth the extra dollars.

the leads at the studio are oddly very uncooperative and unresponsive in regards to community feedback

at this rate PAYDAY 3 is on an express road to catastrophe rapidly closing onto its destination and unless something significant changes, it will remain this way
nearly all decisions made until this point have been detrimental to the overall quality of the game
problems identified in the pre-release public betas and on launch are either still not resolved or were approached with wrong solutions which do not target the core of any given issue

and this is ignoring the fact the game is plain unfinished

imagine taking a beloved classic and turning it into AI slop garbage while making absolutely zero improvements but multiple downgrades

networking is ♥♥♥♥ and barely works
30 fps cap in multiplayer
bloated file size because of AI upscaling memes
garbage console UI
no crossplay??
broken audio
missing cutscenes

this is disrespectful of pandemic studios' legacy, feels like spitting on their grave
