Honestly did not expect to like this as much as I did. Never played anything like this before and I bought it on a whim minutes after finding out about the game.

Very cosy and wholesome game. Every character is likeable. High production value with pretty animations in both the UI and character portraits. Full voice acting.
Mechanics are pretty simple and easy to understand. Getting into the flow of things becomes natural.

Apparently it's based on a series of board games about a bakery? Nearly every name or bit of lore in this universe is a bread related joke, which made me chuckle once I finally realised.
The story is pretty basic and filled with common tropes, yet I could not help myself but enjoy it. Some beats even managed to get me pretty emotional. I am a sucker for slice of life stuff.

Went through at least 7 New Game+ loops, having reached all true endings. Each loop I still got to see something new and sometimes my previous accomplishments were recognised in some scenes, which was unexpected.

It's peak.

for a game all about shooting giant hordes of zombies they sure managed to make the whole shooting part feel terrible and impossible to enjoy
one of the most anemic guns i've ever used in a video game
gameplay structure genuinely puts me to sleep
WWZ feels, looks, and sounds like those fake games you see in the background of TV shows like Law & Order or CSI Miami

Finally not another warehouse.
Probably the best of the three we've got so far in this Palatucci arc.
You get to do more things than just opening boxes and grabbing bags.
Okay randomization that chooses which half of the mall you rob.
Gustavo produced a good track.

Unfortunately prone to softlocking if you try to be fast and do objectives out of order.
Shipped with known bugs that impact gameplay severely, like the security room keycard being inaccessible if you roll the wrong half of the mall.
A bit too large? And outside the lounge there are no civilians? It's the middle of the day...
Musket is a disappointing joke weapon, it doesn't even kill a bulldozer in one shot. The bayonet on it deals more damage than the bullet.

this heist is not worth 8 bucks
it's basically party powder 2, so it's not terrible at least. if you liked that you will like this.
the map is pretty small and compact. ends much sooner too, because there doesn't seem to be a meth lab this time around. randomization is what's supposed to give it extra flavor, but not sure if that's worth the extra dollars.

joining the circlejerk because the screencaps where payday 3's review score will be compared to this game's have the potential to be premium comedy

the leads at the studio are oddly very uncooperative and unresponsive in regards to community feedback

at this rate PAYDAY 3 is on an express road to catastrophe rapidly closing onto its destination and unless something significant changes, it will remain this way
nearly all decisions made until this point have been detrimental to the overall quality of the game
problems identified in the pre-release public betas and on launch are either still not resolved or were approached with wrong solutions which do not target the core of any given issue

and this is ignoring the fact the game is plain unfinished
