campaign sucks and is probably the most uninspired piece of slop cod has ever managed to produce - absolutely nothing ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ happens until the very end where they nonchalantly kill off a main character for some reason and then they spend a grand total of 3 seconds mourning their death. why are they seemingly incapable of making another MW2019?

multiplayer is a sweatfest of misery, god forbid you play solo and actually try to win your matches, because your random teammates certainly won't. the TTK increase makes the game feel like absolute ass and it seems most guns were balanced by throwing darts at a corkboard, coupled with the trash servers that bobby kotick is too cheap to spend more than $2 on certainly delivers a very fun hitmarker experience.
also love seeing all of the already fixed last year's MW2 bugs returning due to a completely terrible and rushed dev cycle

zombies, a DMZ+Outbreak hybrid this time around, is probably the only decent part of this package, once again proving out of all the 3 main studios only Treyarch is capable of producing something actually fun for this franchise but for god's sake it is not worth $70

the carry forward highlight of moving MW2's content into this one is completely ♥♥♥♥ on by Sledgehammer and their weird obsession with completely downgrading everything presentation related, i am not sure at this point which one of their games has the absolutely worst sound design, WW2, Vanguard, or MW3. i sure do love when all my guns sound like a 5 year old smacking a pizza box against a wall
they also somehow ♥♥♥♥♥♥ up volume mixing for MW2 operators. i hope you enjoy painful ear piercing clipping and crackling in your speakers whenever any of those characters speak
have i mentioned SHG sucks at sound design?

just stay with Cold War or MW2, wait for the next IW or Treyarch game. Sledgehammer should not be allowed to do anything more than mop up the floors at the other studios' offices and even then i'd be reluctant to actually hand them a mop because of how much i do not trust them to do anything competently

special shout out to Beenox for not being capable of fixing the same crash issues that have been plaguing the PC ports since 2019
