i saw this game randomly on youtube, and it caught my attention enough to try it. i'm so glad i did, because this game has the JUICE. tony hawk meets sky diving meets pizza tower in an insane, high-octane, score chaser. you're tricking back and forth between items, popping champagne and snake venom, while you spiderman between flaming debris that threatens to cave in your skull and break your 100-combo streak. You're bullet timing through suitcases and trolley carts, snowboarding through the air while looking for snacks and chasing after gameboys and blackboxes as you're hoping, praying that you can keep up your momentum until you slam the ground with your skull.

are you keeping up with the plot? do i need to say anymore? yes?? then go play it for yourself!!

what a great piece of media for those crisp october nights. the multimedia thing was really cool, the story has intrigue and has some really interesting theming around software (no spoilers). the best compliment i can give is that it makes me want to play daniel mullins' other games out there.

don't believe ign. this remaster is really good, and one of the more standout examples of when developers listen to community criticism to refine what was already a solid product, on top of just giving more. its honestly on par with the quality of the resident evil remake, minus the obvious graphical leap. there is no reason to buy the original, this is undoubtedly the definitive version of the game.

its not particularly spectacular, and the gameplay is kinda meh, but if you have 3 hours and a steam sale going on, it's worth checking out to just cruise around the ocean environments.

this is for people who wish they could bring a gun into those carnival haunted houses.

silksong is what any sequel should try to be. it iterates, expands, and challenges everything that hollow knight was to create not just one of the best indie games, but one of the best metroidvania games.

it felt somewhat underbaked, but the world was intriguing enough to be a positive experience. i'll keep my eye on this one.

a charming little demo that reminds of link's awakening and castlevania, mixed with some dark souls mechanics. colorful and difficult, i have total faith in yacht club with what was presented in the demo.

unbelievable how good this is. i didn't think a true sequel to the nes games could be made without compromising what made them so special. fluid animation, silky smooth gameplay, and a ball-busting difficulty without the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ of the original games. the demo was super impressive, and i can't wait to see what the full game offers.
