The game in a nutshell has potential and is fun for what it is but it’s one of those cases where i wish there was an in the middle review button for one simple reason, and that’s the extremely linear gameplay. There is no strategy, no thought process, no rhyme or reason. You have to build in a very specific way, or you will loose. There’s no clutch comebacks or sneaky flanks. The enemy simply front loads your base or all sides depending on the mission and you have very little ways to defend (turrets are just no good) hopefully this changes in the future and we get more freedom to our actions

I cannot recommend the game at it's current price point, it's a great looking game, its vibrant and full of colour but that's really where it ends. the game at it's core is a wannabe comedy with attempts at witty puns with some side content attached to make it feel like there is a lot to do, if you like exploring, sure why not but the lack of main game content feels very un rewarding, i heard that using the mekton is a lot of fun so it was first on my to do list to check it out, however you only use it for about 10 minutes, then you can never use it again unless you are in that zone, there's no reason at all to do any of the side content or completing areas for gear, the game is that easy even on very hard difficulty you just kite enemies around with your starter weapon and kill everything. i completed 2 world eaters and some side content but for the most part i was trying to stay awake while aimlessly running around in this empty world. £20-£25 game for sure, but dont waste your money paying full price.

it's a neat little game with elements and ideas from all sorts of micro management games, you will find yourself deleting rescources instead of harvesting them just to make room for your base most of the time.

The AI is wonky and will often path the longest route possible, and easy remedy for this is to make use of stone walls, you can easily wall a specific path you want your wagons/caravans to take if that is the most optimized path, however once you reach cloth belts and logistics the need for workers and wagons are made redundant and you can make the whole process completely autonomous and seemless.

My only gripe with this game is the maximum worker count, once you hit a certain base level, you sould be able to research further house upgrade and the possibility to scale workers infinitely.

Overall a fun an enjoyable game for the price

Beautiful but short, you'd think after the time saved without having to build a whole new map they might add more content. but to complete the main story in less in a day of owning the game is pretty dissapointing for £37.99. A lot of improved features over it's predecessor and the gunplay feels somewhat nicer then previous. unlike FC5 and before different weapons and combinations will help you battle the higher stages of outposts, mind you a couple of remote explosives is enough to take down enforcers if you lack the tier 4 weapons, I'm not recommending this game at this price. when it's on sale buy it..

Insanely frustrating when you want to just get on with a mission but end up being kidnapped every 5 mins, then end up in the middle of nowhere on a completely different mission...

Late game became way too easy, i think all of the gear got way too overpowered, it was fun though, some of the maps and challenges still needed a high degree of tactics and turret placement and good use of all the heroes to bast through it, grab a gorup of friends and grind through the game on nightmare starting from level 1 and it is a very challenging and fun experience, put a lot og hours into this over the years.
